You fell to remember that It was Serbia that embarked the policies of aggression, genocide, ehtnic cleansing, cold blooded murder against the mainly unarmed civilian population of The Republic of Kosovo during the 1990s! Does operation horseshoe ring a bell? It should, as the Serbian state uprooted over 1million of Kosovas ancient inhabitants expelling them on train carts to neighboring country's in the Balkans, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, etc! If it weren't for NATO intervention Kosovo was going to be ehtnically cleansed of its almost 2 million inhabitants which were a majority 97% and inhabitants which had been in Kosovo for over 2 Millenia!!!
Serbs & the state of Serbia need to grow up and accept the fact that The Republic of Kosovo is a democratic country which has decided to follow the path of democracy & freedom!!! There will be no more return of a Serbian apartheid system, there will be no more of Serbian governship, no more Serbian policing, no more Serbian laws, no more Serbian armed forces present, no more Serbian interfering, no more Serbian occupation of our natural resources, no more Serbian nothing, period!!! First of all, the so-called "Republic of Kosovo" didn't exist in the 1990s. It was the Autonomous Province of Kosovo, which was part of the Socialist Republic of Serbia, which in turn was past of Yugoslavia.

Secondly, you forget that since the 1980s, Albanian extremists had been pushing for secession and annexation with Albania and when political steps didn't work, the KLA terrorist organization formed in 1997 with the sole purpose of dragging Serbia to war.

Third, you have to once again, like you always do, go back more than 20 years to make and exaggerated point, when non-Albanians who sympathize with Serbs can go back 20 minutes to show to the latest act of aggression and general nuisance of a people who have everything they want in Kosovo and still find ways of making their lives and the lives of others miserable.

A peculiar minority in Serbia has segregated itself in an internal fenced-in ghetto without visa free acccess to the EU. Apartheid separatists consider this a "win", but most recognize the fraud peddled by these bigots.

Kosovo also declared independence in accordance with UNSCR 1244, so there is nothing additional that Kosovo can "win" since it achieved already what it wanted.

The text refers to the FRY. You may wish to learn that the UN considers Serbia as the successor to the FRY. On page 2 of UNSCR 1244 the exact text reads: " Reaffirming the commitment of all Member States to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia."
