Just another example how Serbia can't see reality, actually lives in a fantasy universe. Today it was announced that Guerres will be the new UN Secretary General, and Jeremic never really had a chance because Serbia still has not learned anything from his bloodthirsty past during the Milosevic years. For as long as that won't happen, Serbia will be a pariah state. A country with blood on it's hands.

Besides that, the EU also put the thumb screws on Serbia today, and basicly declared an ultimatum. You either accept that whatever property there is in Kosovo belongs to Kosovo, and not Serbia, or forget any further negotiations for EU membership. Now Serbia is faced with reality, a reality it tried to ignore for 17 years, but now it has decide. Accept, and there might be a european future, ignore it, and go back to the middle ages and become a russian satelite.

There is no reason for a Serbian around the UN high ranked offices. It just makes no sense. Who really need them there the KGB ?
