That's an exceedingly comprehensive manifesto filled with persuasive ideas and a robust action plan.

The only problem is going to be is will the USA veto him just because he may question their agenda.

Well, meaningless manifestos mean nothing when the USA had the opportunity to see little Vuk in action as UNGA President. Vuk's actions as UNGA president matter to the USA more than his words in meaningless manifestos. When it came to actions as UNGA President, Vuk showed that he is just an immature teenager that is unfit for the UNSG position and that's why he is going to get vetoed. Vuk should have shown with actions, not words, that he is worthy for the office he is seeking. Unfortunately for Vuk, he blew that opportunity and can only blame himself for that...

UN was scheduled to rule the world after WW2 but much has changed ever since. Initially Roosevelt offered a 4 member of the SC but then Churchill insisted on including France whose colonies made 9% of the Earth. Although France’s place was in Nurnberg Stalin agreed because we had no troops to stop the German move to Stalingrad. Anyways all 5 permanent members of the UNSC got used to their veto right and won’t give it up easily. They also understand that SG is just a clerk to serve them but not to bring changes in the practice of their tool. So I am very pessimistic about any changes in the UN for the decade to come. It may only happen as a result of some drastic changes in the world affairs or a compromise of the big five. All personnel of the UN is controlled by the US for 30-40 years now and I don’t think they will let a Serb to top the organization. Most likely he will be a component of a bargain to become Vice SG or something like that in the end.

That's an exceedingly comprehensive manifesto filled with persuasive ideas and a robust action plan. This is a refreshing change from a leading UNSG candidate to see that he's actually thinking about what is required of the job and is not just running around canvassing votes and getting strings attached to his mouth. The last three Secretary Generals have all been ineffective for want of a better description and the prospect of this fine young man getting elected fills many with optimism. The only problem is going to be is will the USA veto him just because he may question their agenda. Sad if that's the case because this guy could potentially solve a lot of crises around the world and boy do we have plenty of them.Good luck Mr.Jeremic

Really now, is this man child, Vuk, the best Serbia can offer up for the prestigious post of Sec.Gen. at the UN. How can one forget his being drummed out of his former political party. And, who can not remember Jeremic embarrassing Serbia as well as himself by incompetently attempting to frame a simple question to the ICJ concerning Kosovo's independence.
