The "UNSG race straw polls overview: Jeremic ranks second overall" headline was talking about overall rankings. In other words, taking the results from all the straw polls up until now (Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4) and adding them all up.
The "Jeremic ranks second in latest informal UNSC straw poll" headline is talking only about the latest straw poll (round 5), in which Jeremic came in 2nd.
They're entirely different things. Serbia media didn't lie, you just misread.

There is nothing wrong with B92's previous AGGREGATE analysis after 4 rounds of voting. Nor is there anything wrong with the B92 report today on the results of the fifth round.
The actual truth is that our commentator quoted above, can't read and comprehend simple details in news articles and analyses.
