Exactly. Dodik's nonsense is all about deflection from the fact that under his rule RS is going nowhere - no growth, no jobs, no EU, Dodik & cronies stealing from the state - and citizens have no future. Same goes for the Bosniak politicians and they all seem to have found a way to keep citizens distracted. How dumb are the citizens? So far, pretty dumb: they haven't kicked out these thieves after two decades of this.

But the politicians start the wars, not the people. And these same smart people continue to vote in and support these nationalists and then wonder why the region is in such a bad condition economically and politically.

Wasn't the same thing said in the 90's?

"We won't have any wars because the people don't want wars?" Then four wars happened. As long as the cancer of nationalism and extremism remains so prevalent in the former Yugoslav republics, war is always possible.

This seems a balkan Specialty, look anytime there is something important change in Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo, Bosnia following happens:

Something happens in North Kosovo, Some fighting words with HDZ and SNS ....

What citizen benefits from this type of posturing, those connected to political elite only rest go hungry with a side of patriotism.

Who benefits to talk about things in the past those who do not want you to focus on todays issues.
