Jeremic and the Serbs has already won this contest by simply being in the running. It doesn't matter at this point whether he gets it or not.

Well, everybody can be in the running as long as it's proposed by a UN member state. So, yes, congratulations to Vuk for winning Serbia's contest about Serbia's candidate for UNSG.

Shame on this group for ignoring the crimes of Bosnian Muslims continuing to perpetrate untruths beyond what was factual. Of course it is only through the spread of lies that these individuals were able to get their free lunch in the US. One day, the Serb victims of the Bosnian Muslim war criminals like Nasar Oric will have their day in court.

If the Bosnians and the Albanians have their way, soon any Serb caught breaking wind will be dragged away in public as exhibiting war criminal tendencies.

But "American Bosniaks" (wtf) have absolutely no reason to hate this person. He's never said or done anything against Bosnia or the Bosniak people.

you should read the article, not just the title. All the reasons for opposing Vuk "over my dead body" Jeremic (not hate as you claim) are in the article. They are written very clearly.

In my opinion, Jeremic has clearly demonstrated in the past that he will put one UN institution against another, thus weakening the UN, for petty purposes. This too is written in the article.

How pathetic. But not as bad as the letter Albanians wrote about Jeremic killing 800 billion 'kosovars' before he ever hit puberty. What's sad about this letter is that Vuk Jeremic comes from Bosnia and hails from a prominent ethnic Bosniak family. I can understand the Albanians and their opposition to Jeremic, someone who has lobbied against the recognition of their fake state.

But "American Bosniaks" (wtf) have absolutely no reason to hate this person. He's never said or done anything against Bosnia or the Bosniak people. But because he's Serbian and has performed very well as of late, Serbia's regular haters have to crawl out of their hole and try to sabotage anything which would advance Serbia.

Well after the infamous letter from the mothers of the heroic sons of great gjakova or whatever, Jeremic posted his best result yet. Let's hope this letter has a similar impact next round!

So "American Bosniaks", whatever that is, are upset at Vuk because he

1. Played a WWI era song that was equally popular in SFRJ and transliterated into English and German variants but is somehow believed by them to be an anthem of Greater Serbian nationalism

2. Calls for an understanding of the wars of the 1990s that different from their one=sided victimhood, and

3. Likens Albanians to fictitious characters in a fantasy novel

all of which disqualifies him from being UNSG? I never paid that much attention to Vuk's qualities but if this is all his detractors have, along with the ridiculous story by Kosovo Albanians that he participated in killing 800,000 Albanians in 1999 with Milosevic, they're really desperate.

I think it would be good for Serbia to get this position but I am not so sure about Vuk. I think he will end up being a yes-man for Russia with Kosovo used as blackmail.
Then one day, Russia will recognize Kosovo fully and all the concessions made to Russia will have been in vain, Serbia will be left with nothing.
Serbia of course, will convince themselves that it was somebody elses fault, probably the USA, NATO or the CIA

Vuk is experienced and well educated, however, he has done many blunders.

He asked ICJ (Part of UN) for opinion but never intended to accept the ruling if it was not with his view.

March na drina - its a song for Serbs but not others they see it as offensive. Just like its offensive to play Thomson songs.

I thin UN is outdated anyway, there should be new UN where majority rules on everything if we believe in equality and justice. Why there is VETO by 5 countries makes no sense at all in 2016.
