I think rote and sj are what I would call 'a vocal minority'.

They do not represent the general view, but are driven by more extreme views of the world.

They obviously experience an amount of bitterness in their lives.

I feel a little sad for them. ....But not a lot.

When i said Romania is not the puppet of the West it had to do with economical policy , have nothing to do with military base with Nato and this kind of geo-political stuff . In Romania we didn`t listened the IMF or WORLD BANK for measures as they do in Serbia . The result most big economical grow up from Europe in 2015 and at moment in 2016 +6% .

First he said that the "didn’t mean" worsening the relations with Russia. Then he said he was "disappointed" that it happened so. Next came words that he was "sorry" over the incident. The he said that he felt "regret" ect. Russian is a great language and there was a good chance that Erdogan will go on experimenting. But he was wise enough to ask the Kazakhstan embassy to find appropriate Russian words that could be accepted by Putin. This is how words ПРИНОШУ СВОИ ИЗВИНЕНИЯ appeared and it gave way to the current developments. It wasn't ПРОШУ ПРОСТИТЬ but was enough to unfreeze the relations. So what Biden said yesterday is not enough I think. And this is how it was interpreted by most of the media here. But Serbs may think different of course as well as different Serbs may think different. Some of them work in Europe and do not want visa problems if Seselj takes the seat. So they vote for the sellouts and for the Shqiptars.

@smart Serb, I don't think Serbs have anything to be ashamed of in your relations with the US. And I don't think Serbia is humiliating itself far from it in fact. Isn't it about time Serbia took its seat within the family of nations instead of allowing Croatia to so call lead the region. I'm not a great fan of Vucic, but what I do think is that he's being advised very well. I saw him speak to students at the London School of Economics and was very impressed with his inclusive attitude. There were Serbs now based in London who were fairly critical of him but he offered them a hearing and was very keen to hear what they had to say.

If somebody bombed you on purpose, his apologizing does not mean anything.
If some other American that did not want bombing to happen, apologize for what
Clinton, Biden, Albright did, that could be sincere apology.
Most of Americans are arrogant and not apologetic, of course there are nice people in America too.

When Britain fought Napoleon it was divided into a ridgid class structure - so bad a grocer's daughter could not marry a publican's son. 'War is a great leveller' is the observation of what happened, as the divisions collapsed with men from all walks of life fighting side by side and, too often, dying together.

The same will happen for the 'oligarch and the rest' symptomatic of Russia - in Ukraine: Oligarch's sons will lie side by side with men who sold their labour to buy their bread and meat in the summer sun.

I can't speak for other countries, but Australia's armed forces have been warning its politicians - seduced by Washington's big talk about it's place in and knowledge of the world - that Russia's flag will rise again. There are no excuses. No noveau intellectual (or historical) platitude will change that.

So what Biden said yesterday is not enough I think. And this is how it was interpreted by most of the media here.
