Pedantic American with too much time on your hands - it is perfectly correct to say "Local act" and in this context it reads better than "band". The expression "U.S. guitar virtuoso Al Di Meola" is also correct. Your alternative "guitarist virtuoso" is completely wrong. I am English so I actually know how to use our language correctly unlike you and your compatriots; I am also in Vojvodina where the Serbian is better too.

I always wonder whar credentials your writers have when they write your articles. "local act"? or local band, "US guitar" or US guitarist?
