It was the first reasonable statement by Bildt that I saw. No matter if Erdo-gun is good or not his people has chosen him and he is to be accepted as legal as any head of state. Also it was the first time Bildt barked nothing about Russia. Looks like this world is really changing.

Bildt is always good for a laugh. He doesn't consider Erdogan dumping the cease-fire with the PKK in order to gain more votes in elections as stoking civil war. Just like the people in Europe he is criticizing, they are all vomit inducing hypocrites. History shows that Turkey run by generals during each coup was even more pro-western than any of the civilian regimes, but why let facts get in the way?

Like the Snake swallowing it's own tail!

Again the ROOT problem - USA!

Who is the evil and sadistic in the world that is turning nations upside down?

The Beast with it's fangs dripping and drueling!

USA dictating and imposing it's evil will upon the humanity of all world nations!

The poor and innocent humanity of the world suffer and die and then a hand full in the USA, England and Germany with riches they don't know any more what to do with!!!

"When Turkey asked for derogation from the European Convention on Human Rights, EU leaders howled with disapproval, forgetting that France did the same after the November terror attacks in Paris. "

France didn't arrest 1000s of people in improvised prison camps where some of them are even torured, according to Amnesty international. Neither did France dismisse 1000s of judges and other officials, France officials never talked about introducing death penalties. What a stupid comparison, really.

In fact, even the accusation is nonsense, almost all European politicians condemned the coup.
And it must be clear for everyone that the way Erdogan has chosen won't lead closer to Europe but closer away from Europe and its standards and values.

Amateurish paid propaganda attempt.

The former employee is trying to justify things that are not justified, comparing things that cannot be compared.

He must be really desperate for money to ridicule himself like this. In fact he should be ashamed of himself.

He compares the situation in Turkey with the one in France after the terrorist attacks there. You can't compare them. France did not fire, arrest or otherwise removed journalists, judges, civil servants, etc. by the thousands. Should the EU support the undemocratic measures Erdogan is implementing in Turkey? What Erdogan is doing is the real conspiracy here. He had that playbook already ready in a drawer somewhere. Bildt is another globalist that wants to flood Europe with migrants, just like Merkel wants. He sees Turkey's EU accession and visa free travel for millions of Turks now go up in smoke.
