Youth turning anti-EU; not even Russia makes NATO acceptable

The issue with Serbia joining the EU is that the details are kept secret from the general population in the same way that business deals are kept secret. It is like the government views the general population as the enemy and when they outright refuse to give details, one has the assumption that the reason is because the government is screwing you over. There has never even been a discussion as to why Serbia should join or not. Vucic just tells the country that Serbia will be joining the EU and don't question why.

I love how beshiri says the youth are not well informed. . Yet they can see the ruins, memorials from what nato did daily! They would meet people from other parts of former yugoslav territory and ask why they left there home. . I think beshiri is not well informed and should not speak if he is not 100% certain on the issue. .

I am half Serbian from my mothers side and have just been to Beograd for the first time since the bombing and its come a long way, since those sad times. I whole heartedly beg that you do not go into the EU, as I have just voted out. It will not work for you at all, your not economically ready, they will take your money in one hand and give you crumbs back. They will tell you what you can and cannot do. You will end up like Greece where they have very high unemployment, and the people are very poor. I think you should wait and just carry on with what your doing at the moment try and encourage people from all over the world to look at your capabilities and offer them the highest standards, if you join the EU you will be under a dictatorship of a drunken Junker and a woman who has no though or incite into what she is creating. This is just my though, we are suffering because of the EU our wages are the same for the past 10 years wages have stayed the same but everything else has gone up, we are finding it hard to cope as all our money goes on bills etc.

The issues are not kept secret, this is one of the major benefits of the EU. This is to prevent corruption.
Every single detail about the EU Serbia agreements and what they mean is available online. Do you expect Vucic to give you a monthly personal visit to explain it to you. If you want the details of the Fiat or NIS/Gazprom deals you will never find them, however all details of the SAA are here online for anyone to read

The decision to join th EU was made well before Vucic was in government. All governments elected by Serbian citizens have pursued EU membership. I think the initial decision was made in 2000 and there has been 6 general elections in which people have had the chance to elect an anti-EU government.

People must be well informed of the sequences otherwise these figures have little value. Especially now that Germany intends to deprive them of bigger part of their former independence. So that it is not too late when Serbs find themselves slaves let them be aware of the choice from the very begining. I am sure that absolute majority of the Shqiptars dream of the Serbian membership to help them solve their Shqiptar territorial problems. There must be a referendum held about Kosovo and EU as in fact it's one issue. Serbs living outside the country must come here to vote if they care. No outside voting! Those in the West are partly voting for their personal interests not necessarily same as Serbia's ones. This generation of Serbs is responcible for the sites of Kosovo where so much blood was shed. I care about them because each monastery or church here has it Russian name too that is an exclusion in Russia. All those sites in Kosove are as Russian as they are Serbian because when they were built we were one people. This I can prove.

That means Serbia's population in 20 years will be only 2 million.....if that......look at your population in 2011 it was 7.3 million and today its 7 million.....you lost 300,000 in 5 years......you are done ,don't worry though the Muslims and Albanian Muslims will fill the gap and put the population to 10 million lol and Serbia will be called serbastan.........if you don't think this will happen you are living in a delusional dream.......we will also take care of your old what is left in Serbia with old folks homes.....oh I mean serbastan.....

Why?! What does Russia get in return?! If mother Russia were so generous, would not have insisted to "buy" NIS for a fistful or Euros, and would not have reduced the gas supply to Serbia in the middle of the winter over some unpaid bill....

On the other hand, if you are so convinced that your advice about printing dinars is sound, then just pay Russia with those dinars... there is no need for any financing!

The 35 year economic crisis and the influence of the decadent West have conspired to convince Serbs that they can't afford children and that they should in any case be having fun instead of raising a family.

Serbs need to abandon the Western economic model (which the West have already abandoned) and start "quantitative easing'" which means creating billions of Dinars to be invested in new infrastructure. Repairing schools and hospitals and building new roads can all be done by Serbs and does not need foreign currency, Serbs will accept Dinars for their work. Serbia also needs to build the Djerdap 3 hydroelectric project which will produce so much power that Serbia will be energy independent. Djerdap 3 can mostly be financed with Serbian Dinars, but the massive turbines will need to be imported from Russia which is the world leader in that market. I am sure the Russians would agree to a favourable financing regime for a Serbia that rejected the EU and NATO.
