So there is not much to hurt there, even if the boycott were 100% successful. You might want to come up with better ideas lol

Are you hinting at their tourism sector to be ruined by another insane?

Only 5.5% of Croatia's exports go to Serbia. So there is not much to hurt there, even if the boycott were 100% successful. You might want to come up with better ideas lol

They are completely and utterly fixated on Serbia.
(Ari Gold, 22 July 2016 10:15)

According to Nikolic, it is the opposite to the point that Nikolic is so fixated on Croatia that he is "personally preparing evidence about the Croatian cardinal" that would be given first to the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) delegation, and then to a Vatican commission.

@Factman

Are you saying to ban Croatian goods into Serbia... How would you people cope without 'VEGETA'. if anything you should be thanking the Croatian inventor who actually seasons your lunch and dinner each night. You Serbs cannot survive without us.

Yes, Mr. Greater Serbia your wish is our command. Yet your constant provocation and agitation, lies and deceit are nothing and should be continued as they fuel your territorial ambitions.

When governments have no solutions to citizens' daily struggles with a bad economy, corruption, poor education, and lousy healthcare, they try to divert citizens' attention to invented issues. The Croatian Government is just following the populist manual and using the issue that they know will agitate and distract their citizens the most.

Absolutely agree. A tactic used to remain in power.

It is done in the US, as well. Divide and conquer.

And a question: Do you really want to cooperate and talk with us?

I and many others believe we are the same people and should not only talk, but sing, love and breath together in one unified country.

Do you want re-join us?

Ari and Josip - completly agree with you both. A 'policy' based on initiaing a pissing contest with Serbia is ultimatly pointless and serves no good purpose for anyone. Hopefully the voters will send them the message - though unless the other parties get their act together, it seems like slim pickings

Then what would Croatia's ruling fascist HDZ party do to preoccupy their time with? They are completely and utterly fixated on Serbia. Their entire election platform was centered around Serbia and they are fulfilling their promise of being focused on nothing but Serbia. I know that there are plenty of Croats who despise these Nazis and it's up to them to stop them at the next election.

Mr Dačić, what did you expect? The war ended 21 years ago, and people are still frightened. Didn't you foresee this reaction?

I agree that we should cooperate, but as I said, I thought you had foreseen this reaction.

And a question: Do you really want to cooperate and talk with us?

Haters will always hate. If hating was a sport, Croatia would be world champions. (Some of them anyway).
It seems the veterans have the government by the short and curlies. I guess tearing down signs and threatening the helpless Serbs (what are left of them) and threatening their own government is more interesting than sitting in a cafana all day nursing a single espresso.
