"If Serbia acted like Croatia, it would be condemned"

If Serbia were the one demanding non-application of a law on universal jurisdiction - as Croatia is doing - it would be subjected to international condemnation.

Serbia is already condemned, it has been since the early 1940's when Serbian people murdered their own Brothers and Sisters and sat back and watched with pleasure as the surrounding Nazi puppet countries murdered Serbia! How stupid can a race of people be, just look in Srpska Krajina and Bosna Herzegovina alone during the early 1940's how many Eastern Orthodox Christians horrifically tortured and murdered by Croatian Nazi and then Serbians put Tito a Croatian sadistic evil monster on the throne in Beograd! How stupid can Serbians really be, are we a defective race? Don't blame any one but your selves Serbia, you get what you ask for, that is the way it is!!!

I think Vulin may be exagerating just a bit - numerous countries have opposed various extradition orders in the past, Serbia included. I fail to see how opposing a law is any different or more severe.

Ideally, Croatia should stop these recent faux power games with Serbia and just accept the law - let those accused of war crimes be tried and, if found guilty, punished accordingly. However, given the recent unfounded indictment of Tihomir Purda, and similar questionable cases involving others, its no surprise that Croatia may question the true nature of this law.
