I'm not comparing who's poorer! I'm comparing acheivements in sports, science, art etc. We can compeat against anyone in these areas. Champion league winners 1991 (Red Star) European Champions in volleyball some years ago on both the mens side as well as women, nr 1 tennisplayer in the world, multiple world- and european Champions in waterpolo, gold winning swimmers, basketball world- and european Champions. Under 20 years of age world champions in soccer a few months back. Its a fact that Serbia is nr 1 in the region to export athleates to the rest of the world. Awardwinning math students. Eurovision winners 2007. I could go on and on. For a poor country this is a miracle acheivement.

Croatia is far more important to EU than Serbia could ever think of being one.
