Oh we Serb's all know how much the good old USA really loves us! Some Serb's still really don't understand what it is all about but rest assured that they will discover very shortly when Hillary Clinton takes over the White House later this year! Did Serbian people already forget what Hill Billy Clinton did back in 1999 when he got in trouble with Monica's panties? For Hilly Billy the solution for his moral problems was the murder of Eastern Orthodox Christianity in the Balkans. Albo- I agree with you. Serb birth rates are too low. That's the problem when you have a sense of responsibility to your children and the wider society.

Kind words indeed and I agree. However it is hard not to take the view that Serbia is being treated differently. Montenegro joins NATO, progress towards the EU accelerates. Turkey is needed to control migrants, progress towards eu accelerates.
Frankly I think the EU is a busted flush, but I am disappointed we didn't meet our targets, and through no fault of our own but political chicanery.

Population increase is a function of economics.

Of course birth rate went down (there were 25 years of war and sanctions).

Birth rate increases as economics improve. And Serbia's economics are improving at a significant rate.

Work harder than the slackers around you.
Capture market share.
Deliver benefit for your customers like they were your family
Soon you will have 9M people (all of them educated) and no more rainy days.

I couldn't have said it any better. But why restrict it only to 'Serbian leaders'? It must be the mentality of the majority of all Serbian people. Once you have understood that, then you will understand why many Serbs always blame the others: It's only the consequence of this mentality.

Regarding the comment that "Russia" would be "Romania" in Romanian language: for that one the Romanian language has to be invented. It's easy. Mix Albanian with Latin, add Russian and voilà, c'est langue roumain!

It’s a big question which of us is “glupi”. And it’s not a surprise that in “Romanian” language RUSSIAN sounds as ROMANA and written as Romana because in 14-16 centuries Russians were the Romans. I mean eastern Slavs ( including the Romanilor also called the Romanians) because no nations existed before 17 century. So were called eastern Slavs in the Ataman/Ottoman Empire where we belonged (together with all other Orthodox) to Milliet-i Rum i.e. to the People of Rome.

What makes you surprise I wonder? There were 3 real Romes :
1/ Ancient Rome of the Ramey (before 11 century AD) in Alexandria ,Egypt.
2/ Second Rome of the Ramey (Before 1185) in Byzantine = Troy = Tsargrad = Constantinople = Stanbul
3/ Third Rome (in 14-16 centuries) of the Rurikovici (branch of the Romeys) in Veliki Novgorod {Habsburg) then in Moscow.

Italian Rome is a fiction. In 17 century maps population of Roma and Vatican was estimated about 2000 inhabitants while Paris was of 25 000 and Moscow – 75 000. It’s a joke to believe that they had any influence.
