you are the one that gets slapped around such as in UNESCO. They will help you get into international organizations and maybe give you some shiny police uniforms, but that's not enough to become a real state. And I was just in Kosovo-Metohija as a matter of fact, about as real of a state as Somalia is. And at least Somalia has a seat at the UN.

In reality it was a slap for Serbia, since Kosova had majority of votes, but did not reach the 2/3 required.
If its was with simple majority, Kosova will have been a UN member, but hey, who cares? Look at Switzerland , which was not a UN member until 2002 when it decided to join that organization. Again "Organization", its nothing more than that!?

This is just sour grapes from Putin because ALL Russian athletes have been banned from this summer's Olympics in Brazil. It is because of doping by Russian athletes in the previous Olympics. Isn't it ironic that there will be more Albanian athletes from Kosova than from Russia, participating in Brazil this summer.

What about Serbia? Where is Serbia's reaction? What are the sell outs in the government doing? Are they tired of reacting?

About Moscow, I like how they describe a voting process where the majority decides, aka democracy, as "using the numerical advantage", "well orchestrated effort", "predetermined":

...pulled this self-proclaimed state into their ranks, using their numerical advantage, she said, according to the Russian MFA website, and added: "It seems that the outcome of the voting on this issue was predetermined before it began and that the whole process was a well-orchestrated effort."

Russia is a top 10 economy of the world. To call their economic situation grim is an exaggeration. I've been hearing now for 6 years that it is grim? Seems to be OK to me. Not as good as before, but grim is not true.

Well IMF has russia on place 12. Considering the size of Russia, its laughable. Italy and France have a higher GPD than Russia.

On GPD per Capita it gets worse. IMF has russia on place 65, ranking it behind all baltic countries, most former soviet and most balkan countries. People in almost every country to the west of Russia have more money than the russian people. For China it does not look any better.

This is why Russia and China are the worst partner one can have if you dont have a stronger economy than them. They flood your market with cheap products, crippeling the local economy while having a piss poor domestic purchase power.

They can only sell you stuff while being too poor to buy and invest. From a economical development point of view Italy and France are stronger partner than Russia and China together. If it wasnt for a large army and UNSC seat, we would forget that Russia exists. China has made some progress in the past though and has actually started to invest.

Yes, I dont like the russians because of Serbia. But leave that aside and look only at the facts. You know I`m right. Everyone knows I`m right. Why else would Serbia want to join EU and not EAEU or EEU?! Come on Guys. Give me a break!

I’ve been travelling on a car last month and covered some 4000 km. I saw no signs that this country has any problems. Last week head of Putin’s administration Sergey Ivanov said on TV that he personally minds the sanctions to be lifted soon. Yes we are down some 3,8% but it took us only 6 years to recover after WW2. So don’t hurry with our funerals as you'll need flowers to celebrate our victories to come. Rosatom has contracts for 301 USD while the USA has built their last nuclear station 31 years ago ...

The ecconomic situation is grim, to say the least, and Serbia is having it's problems too, for instance with the Fiat factory laying of 1500 people, 1/3 of their workforce.
