The irony of your name of course is at Yad Vashem there are several records of Jews fighting for the Serb Chetniks. So even though you have nothing to do with Israel you hope your comment has some kind of legitimacy. How sad. Draza was decorated because he was fighting both fascism and communism here is an official letter from U.S. President Richard Nixon many decades after WWII: [link]

Here is another Jewish source of two thousand Bulgarian Jews fighting for the Chetniks [link]

Serbs organized not one, but two anti-fascist movements. Serbia's haters wish to white wash history to pretend that everyone in EX-Yugoslavia had collaborationist armies. Not true. 99% of Serbs who fought resisted, while a few exceptions like Nedic is nothing compared to flowers being thrown onto the streets of Zagreb when the Nazi German occupier came to town.

Belgrade were cleansed of Jews because it was under occupation and the Serbian answer to this occupation was resistance. Unlike the rest of the Balkans which were Hitler's loyal vassals. Thank you General Draza for your sacrifice. My old friend WWII hero Curtis Diles is smiling from heaven when Serbia rehabilitated him.

Is the same Draza that was convicted in a Yugoslav court for war crimes. The Judges in the case were all Serbs. Israel will never forget how the Serbs looked on and encouraged the Nazis to kill Jews in Beograd. My grandfather is disgusted how today's Serbia is full of lies.

The Serbs continue to involve themselves in other people's business. Your opinion is not relevant. Your not an E.U member and never will be. Do we need to mention Draza's Chetniks who massacred any Partizan or Muslim(Drina) in sight with the assistance of German SS. Also Nedic's forces who wiped out anything in Serbia that did not celebrate orthodox Easter. Let's not forget that Serbia and not Croatia was the first to declare Beograd a Jew Free City in 1941. In conclusion Vulin continues to praise Slobo as a great leader of Serbia. You fool he is responsible for 250,000 deaths and the exile of 4 million people from the old warped YU. Stick with Russia you idiots.

Draza was anti-fascist, decorated by the US, blah blah blah...

Learn your history, boy.
(Ari Gold, 15 June 2016 23:38)

He was decorated primarily because he was anti-communist, and no doubt the Yanks were happy to have their own airmen saved (for money and arms, primarily). Yet he did collaborate with the Axis powers against the Partisans, who the Chetniks saw as a larger threat. Exactly how did the Chetniks resist? Waiting for the Allies to come to the rescue and waiting/doing nothing hardly qualifies. Or have Serbs redifined the word 'resist'?

The Chetniks were not anti-fascist - quite the opposite. They were fighting for a Serb/Orthodox-dominated centralised despotate. Replacing one form of fascism with their own brand.

I think you are the one who needs to learn history rather than making it up or living in denial, boy.

I agree, but I also agree that we shouldn't be attempting to rehabilitate fascists Nedic and Draza.

After all, it was us who made this precedent.
(Vojvodina, 15 June 2016 12:43)

There is no "us" because you're an Ustasha and Serbs are not. Draza Mihailovich was rehabilitated by the United States and France in the 1950s. He was posthumously honored and given the Legion of Merit which his daughter accepted on his behalf for his contributions and sacrifice to the anti-fascist movement. Here is the grandson of WWII hero Curtis Diles: you can see the impact General Draza left on these people https://www.facebook.com/diane.hammond.982/posts/10207317974722575?pnref=story

Lol as if Serbia has the right to point fingers at anybody or any state after its rich history in fascism, genocide and mass murder in the 1940s and 1990s. And who listens to Serbia today? Transdniester, North Korea, Cuba and Angola?
