I don't understand how Serbia can say that this is interference in politics when Serbia has opposed Kosova's membership in every sports organisation on political grounds.

The reason why Sapin voted no was that understood, looking for own interest but does not make it right. Gibralter got excepted as well and nothing happened. Money will be spent and court will come back just like in ICJ then the story will be let them play football.
Serbia had its chance but did nothing, from 1989 till 1999 Albanians were not allowed to play, not allowed to even attend games at certain times. After war Serbia could have made moves that would show they wanted to live with Albanians changed constitution not just preamble but made Albanian official language, given reserve seats in Serbian parliament, jailed trully those who committed crimes and outside politics applied in Name of Kosovo to join all sports organisations UEFA, FIFA, ...just like Wals, Scotland this would have made it quite hard for Kosovo to become a country.
They did not, yesterday Dacici at UN said that Germany and France 6 years after WWII started on EU together but he missed the part that Germany apologised, started reparations program and instituted in education system that what they did was atrocies and even today kids learn that. Serbia has not apologised and sees no need to, says you did this to me in the past so its ok, no crime is ok but you need to start from last one we all remeber.

So minister of sports Kosovo is in IOC as well in many sports and no issues so far regarding competing against its athletes, in Kazan Judo they won gold, and even its flag was raised so stop making issues where there are none. Even most Serbs realize that by now, and it's time for Serbia to look to the future, and finally starts to get along with it's neighbors. I don't understand how Serbia can say that this is interference in politics when Serbia has opposed Kosova's membership in every sports organisation on political grounds.
