I happened to be in one of Latin America amazing countries recently and remained speechless when I saw a documentary film by the National Geographic being aired in one of their local channels. The documentary was on WWII, one of the thousands, I thought. Nope, there was certainly an initial description of the battle of Stalingrad and then all of a sudden, alleged sex abuses of the Soviet soldiers in Germany. No evidence at all, no witnesses, nothing. But the documentary was on WWII, my goodness, at least try to fund a whole project focusing on the Reds’ worldwide sex abuses! When he was shot down, the news here in America and Canada said that his F16 crashed after a mechanical malfunction. I could be mistaken, but this might be the first time they officially admitted the plane was shot down. It's not fair to blame him for what he did. His presence deterred the looting / rapine and if such thing happened, the perpetrators were executed on the spot.

An other thing was that usually the locals (with officer and/or commissar above being in charge) had a meeting and asked for female 'volunteers' (who earlier 'worked' with Germans or Japanese soldiers in a night shift for the money) to help out with frustrated low-rank grunts of the Red Army. Any source icj1? When was the Normandy landing operation launched? June 1944. The heroes on the Eastern front had been fighting for four years in the meantime. There were no Muslims on Kosovo field. Simply because Mehmet II aka Prophet Mohammad was not born yet. It was a civil war between the first Christians (pagans) and the Apostolic. Slavs made at least 80% in both armies. The war started in 1370 and ended in 1415 when the Horde started it second conquest of Europe during which Constantinople was seized in 53 day attack from Macedonia. Again both armies were mostly Slavic but this time it wasn't a religious was but a conflict inside the ruling Rurikovici Dynasty. Well, the Soviet Union played an important role in defeating the Nazis, but without the US involvement and assistance the Soviet Union would have been defeated.

Unfortunately, heroism alone and the number of soldiers was not sufficient to win the mechanised wars of the 20th century. It is the industrial might that matters and Soviet Union's industrial capacity was no match for Germany's.

That's why US' assistance was critical for Soviet Union's success against the Nazis. As an example, regardless of how heroic the Soviet soldiers were, trucks were needed to transport them to the front in the first place. And the majority of the trucks were provided to the Soviet Union by the US, because the Soviet Union did not have the industrial capacity to produce enough of them.

The opposite is true, as well. Without the Soviet Union, it would have been impossible for the US to defeat the Nazi Germany in Europe.

Any source icj1? When was the Normandy landing operation launched? June 1944. The heroes on the Eastern front had been fighting for four years in the meantime. The Allies intervened only when they realized that the Russians would have soon liberated Berlin and from there straight ahead to Paris, mate. The Allies showed up only when the first ushankas appeared on the horizon. They took their time, so much time, hoping to get finally rid of both Russians and Germans.
Other than that, I would be the happiest person in the world if only the US could finally admit that there’s nothing in the world they can solve without the Russians’ collaboration. There were no Muslims on Kosovo field. Simply because Mehmet II aka Prophet Mohammad was not born yet. It was a civil war between the first Christians (pagans) and the Apostolic. Slavs made at least 80% in both armies. The war started in 1370 and ended in 1415 when the Horde started it second conquest of Europe during which Constantinople was seized in 53 day attack from Macedonia. Again both armies were mostly Slavic but this time it wasn't a religious was but a conflict inside the ruling Rurikovici Dynasty. correction... the war on the US was declared by the puppet government of Albania occupied by fascist Italy.

That's the reason why in the Paris Peace Treaties of 1947, Albania was not treated as an Axis Power (like Germany, Italy, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland were) and actually Albania received was reparations from the Axis, like the victors of WW2 did. Those are the facts.

Neither “Balli Kombetar” neither the “Communists” don't let the jews in the hand of Germans. They protected them in the same way. This is a fact, just check it.
“Balli Kombetar” fought for an “Ideal”, ( I don’t blame them ). But they were to “small” to play hard. The “Komunists” try to play “smart” – they try to get Kosovo without war but Tito did the biggest mistake in history.
Balli Kombetar tried to fight for having Kosovo, and of course there were crimes but they did not kill and massacre in mass the unarmed Serbian population. ( I don’t deny there were not crimes – but the facts show that those crimes were not mass crimes – like Chetniks did for expm ).
If you blame "Balli Kombetar" – you should blame even your Chetniks – they did worst than that for the same Ideal. So whom is the point : Your Chetniks had the right more than Balli Kombetar?

Well, the Soviet Union played an important role in defeating the Nazis, but without the US involvement and assistance the Soviet Union would have been defeated.

Unfortunately, heroism alone and the number of soldiers was not sufficient to win the mechanised wars of the 20th century. It is the industrial might that matters and Soviet Union's industrial capacity was no match for Germany's.

That's why US' assistance was critical for Soviet Union's success against the Nazis. As an example, regardless of how heroic the Soviet soldiers were, trucks were needed to transport them to the front in the first place. And the majority of the trucks were provided to the Soviet Union by the US, because the Soviet Union did not have the industrial capacity to produce enough of them.

The opposite is true, as well. Without the Soviet Union, it would have been impossible for the US to defeat the Nazi Germany in Europe.
