Don't worry too much Croatia, when Mrs. Hilly Billy becomes USA president this fall I am sure you all will get another big chance and permission to murder more of us innocent Christian Eastern Orthodox Serbians!

The right wing HDZ leader should be more concerned about the reversal of criminal sentences of Gotovina and Markac responsible for the largest ethnic cleansing in the former Yugoslavia of 250,000 people under the noses of the UN and international community.

Well, isn't this the kettle calling the pot black! Maybe when Kolinda implements a policy of prosecuting those responsible for committing war crimes against Serbs, repatriating ethnically cleansed Serbs, reinstating pensions to ethnically cleansed Serbs, returning Serb property, etc., etc. all this and more was promised by the Croat gov't. when applying for EU membership and none of it has been pursued. You have no credibility Kolinda. Keep your mouth shut and smile for the cameras.

I can think of something much worse that "will have a negative effect on peace, reconciliation and good-neighbourly relations in the wider southeast European region": Miss Kiti's pro-Tudjman government and officials that seem determined to revise the history of the NDH and Jasenovac.

The NATO court has served its purpose, and that is to keep the people of the former Yugoslavia divided and at each other's throats. There was never any intention for reconciliation.

I don't like Sjesel much. But what she should be worried about is that the judges believed (as confirmed by the descending judge) that the conflict was the result of an illegal succession and that the status of the war was legitimate.

She's trying to cover up here money laundering scam and terrible economic situation at home after promising that the ustasha state would be the best in Europe and world financially.

Why be so concerned about Serbs? Last I heard the citizens of Croatia aren't very thrilled with their government and standard of living. Focus on your people. Then again, in 10 years, there will be no citizens in the Balkans because everyone is leaving to find better lives!

There is an old Serbian saying that goes like ...lies have very short legs but the truth is heard a long way.
To give an indication of just how prosperous Croatia has become, on Monday on HRTV Dnevnik, they ran a story about clearance of unexploded ordinance and land mines and the people that clear them.
They earn $3.60 US a day which equates to $72 US dollars per month, but HDZ promised them $120 US per month. I would not hold my breath waiting for that increase.
The men complain that they don't even have proper equipment one was killed on Sunday. Yes sir, Croatia the land of milk and honey and average wage of 700 Euros per money LOL.

She has a point. Seselj was convicted 3 times for contempt, and I believe 3 others in SRS were indicted for witness intimidation/tampering/whatever.

Anyway, the prosecution has motioned for appeal, and we shall see. Whatever happens, hopefully justice will be served.

And maybe it won't be, but that's any legal system for you - none are anything close to perfect. They're run by human beings. Every day, we see examples of incompetent/corrupt lawyers, judges, systems.

The outcome of many ICTY trials have resulted in outrage: Gotovina, Markac, Blaskic, Oric, Haradinaj, Perisic...

But, as I always say, just think of how trials would have been handled in Belgrade, Zagreb, Pristina or Sarajevo.

If you were a Serb, would you prefer Karadzic to be tried in the Hague, or Sarajevo?

I think the woman is a racist so and so but her job is not to seek justice for Serbs but to seek justice for Croats. It's up to Serbia to go and bat for their own and raise Hell when people like Oric, Haradinaj and Gotovia are set free.
How much did Serbia care about their own? Enough to hand all of them to that court knowing Serbs don't get justice there.

The Croat HRTV Dnevnik said this morning that the Croatian economy is behind Serbia but ahead of Montenegro and Macedonia. I found it very hard not to laugh.
Serbia is going forward at a fast rate but the rest of the former Yugoslavia is going in the opposite way.
All of this is due to the rise of Russia. Never for one moment think that the west would allow Serbia to improve its living standards otherwise how could they show the Serbs the benefits of living in democracy. They funded Croatia and Slovenia to show the heavenly delights of being part of the west. Too bad the west has run out of money LOL.

Russia is currently struggling with the drop of oil and gas and the plunging ruble, but it is in a much better position than the US, which will increase its deficit to 21 trillion and 95 million United States citizens are on food stamps or without jobs.
