Vucic was it a " mistake" to attack Slovenia,Croatia,Bosnia and Kosova?

Was it also a " mistake" to committ Genocide, War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity??

Was Greater Serbia Campaign of Terror also a "mistake"???

It is hard for many of the more nationalistic people to see that Milosevic was a major disaster for Serbia.

However, part of the problem is that there were too many who were prepared to go along with his mistakes thinking that Serbia was being turned into a victim by the rest of the world, when in fact Serbia was being messed-up by its own people.

However, there's still a lot of nationalistic posters on this site who would rather go along with the Milosevic trick of blaming the rest of the world.

NATO wasn't nice to Serbia, because Milosevic invited intervention through his own diplomatic inadequacy and his own criminal activity.

Decency did not reign during his tenure.

Milosevic was just doing what dictators do. His problem was that he couldn't get away with those things in southern Europe. If Serbia were in the heart of Africa, or perhaps in central Asia, no one would lift a finger. In fact, opportunistic powers would support him and try to get in on the action.

But in Europe? Nope. Western Europeans and Americans weren't going to stand for the sniping and shelling of civilians, the concentration camps, the plunder and destruction of villages by thugs...

Serbs think the West is stupid but no, we knew what was happening. We knew who all the big players were, what they were organizing, the crimes they were committing. We had spies on the ground, in the air; we eavesdropped on the phone calls, faxes, emails...

Milosevic, Karadzic, Mladic, Seselj, Arkan, Babic, Martic, Hadzic, et al were arrogant. They thought they could away with it and they were wrong.

The narrative we often read on this site, courtesy of Ari Gold, Zoran, etc, portrays Serbs as the winner, but they weren't. They lost everything they gained and then some. And most of their heroes wound up behind bars.

Not a good ending for Serbdom.

Milosevic made two mistakes? Funny. These two might have been the biggest ones, but they were were many others long time before, including removing the autonomy of Kosovo, sparking national extremists, and so on and so on...

Slobas mistake? He lost the war. You were there buddy. Your chetniks storming to Sarajevo ended up with Kukanjac is a POW, your Montenegrins were defeated at Dubrovnik and your muslims chased out of Slovenia. How could you lose with 80 percent of JNA weapons at your disposal, Bosnia and Croatia being under arms embargo akd foreigners providing funding to your boss Seseljs militia.
