British steel industry went under because of very cheap Chinese steel. Now Chinese are buying Serbian steel industry, why?
To eliminate competition, or?
It is very muddy?

ArcelorMittal is the largest steel Company in the world and has literally bought the largest North American steel companies such as Stelco and Dofasco which used to operate in Canada. Steel commodity prices have yet to recover but China has an uncanny ability to buy at the right time. Chinese companies are also making inroads in oil and gas buy recently purchasing Bankers Petroleum with the large Kucova oil fields in Albania at a very low price. Overall, the deal is a win for Serbia in the short term generating income and employment but a win long term for China depending on what capital investment will be required.

2 Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation * 49.300
3 Hebei Steel Group * 47.094

If the Chinese manage to get Zelezara to operate with profit, it would be kind of a miracle. US steel didn't manage, as far as you know. In this case, the profits will go to the owner, what else?
I think the steel mill must operate for some years until the 300 millions that shall be invested can be earned back. Anyway, Serbia benefits from the workers, and the tax they pay, and partially from the investments (usually, Chinese import most parts from Chine, including constructions workers, as you could see with the bridges constructed by Chinese companies)

How much of those profits stay in Serbia?

How much of any profits stay in B & H, Croatia, & Kosovo? Looks like everyone lost the war except for a few corrupt folks.

serbia1,
Young boy, it is you who does not know what you're talking about. There is wide spread unemployment in Serbia. If you live in Serbia, the chances are high that you do not have a job. Furthermore, how can money stay in Serbia and yet, money goes to china? Contradictory, wouldn't you say! You need to take a course in basic logic.
