I think you mistaken ,Greece never where whipping boys. Greece are always the rebellion daughter!,spenting constantly on her credit card or visa, carefree ,because the parents (Brussels) will pay,or they will leave home(EU),and go bankrupt without a care in the world. The whipping boy's are Bulgaria, Slovenia,Croatia and the Slave "Pristina". When Brussels tells their boy's and slave " Jump",they "yell how high ".When and IF Serbia joins ,they will be the leader's in the Balkans region,but this time NO Croatian COMMUNIST (TITO,Pavlovic,Mesic ) sitting in Belgrade.

As far as Greece is concerned I have said many times that Greece has got to default and say goodbye to Eurozone.The scale of austerity demanded by the EU/IMF mafia are socially impossible - no modern society can be expected to revert to serfdom as willing penance for the past behaviour of a corrupt organisation and a pair of bullies' preferred currency/CAP arrangements.The idea of Greece - or Portugal, or Spain - being locked into a single monetary policy with Germany is ludicrous. Only Eurocrats cannot see how absurd the situation is - with the usual safety valves of currency movements and different interest rates thrown away.
Saving the Euro has become a dangerous cult.
The only country that benefited from the absurd single currency arrangements is Germany.Essentially all of EU have replaced their own currencies with the imperious Deutschmark, their respective central banks with the Bundesbank,rid their industries of protective (tariff and non-tariff) barriers from the German juggernaut and substituted their own elected officials and parliaments with the Bundestag.Well played indeed Germany.

Yes, but why did Tsipras and Greece prolong the agony is the question. Varoufakis was well prepared to revert back to the Drachma and take back control of the monetary policy of Greece. Greece as part of the new bailout package has to continue to sell national assets and allow the "Troika" to control this "collateral" fund. Not sure the gibberish coming out of Lenard's mouth, but Croatia is not in a much better position pushing on 18% unemployment and debt per GDP rising fast above 80% heading for the same hole Greece is trying to dig herself out.

The Greek debt is mathematically impossible to pay back, so are other countries such as USA, UK, Italy, France, Spain and others.

I agree with your statement.These debts are unpayable.There has to be a collapse to remove the debt and at the same time get rid of the corrupt, decaying, financial organisations that caused the mess, this is crony capitalism.EU politicians are doing exactly the opposite of fixing the problem by allowing the production of more debt and not allowing the failing organisations to fail.
There is no way back, no recovery,no fix,no resolution,no cure, you cannot solve a debt crisis by creating more debt.

The second level will be countries in transition (probably forever in transition).

The 3rd level will be for the poor ones.

The bottom 2 levels will work for the upper level.

The people in the lower level will be able to get into the second level.... but the people in the second level will never be able to get into the first level (except maybe one token example)
