Karadzic regrets the loss of civilian life too. Why isn't he free like those who orchestrated targeting Serbs solely.
(MikeD, 26 March 2016 04:25)

Very simple... that is because, according to the UN, although some mistakes were made by NATO, there was no deliberate targeting of civilians or unlawful military targets by NATO during the campaign.

Thx for the consideration, but all the credit goes to the UN - I was just quoting them. Feel free to notify the UN that you want to nominate it for the prize. Let me know if you don't have their address or phone number and I can surely help you with that :)

Civilian casualties[edit]

Main article: Civilian casualties during Operation Allied Force
The Serbian government and a number of international human rights groups (e.g., Amnesty International) claimed that NATO had carried out war crimes by bombing civilians. In total the number of civilian casualties caused by the NATO bombing stood at 2,500 according to Serb sources,[96][97] while the military and police casualties stood at only 40% of that number at 1,031.[

Incomplete list of civilian casualties caused by NATO:

Grdelica train bombing
NATO bombing of Albanian refugees near Đakovica
Koriša bombing
NATO bombing of the Radio Television of Serbia headquarters
Lužane bus bombing
Cluster bombing of Niš (Cluster bombs were illegal by 2008, but was legal in 1999.)
US bombing of the People's Republic of China embassy in Belgrade

I nominate you for the "Pinhead" award, go claim your prize at fox o'reilly.com.

W"hereas, always according to the UN, Karadzic deliberately targeted civilians.

That's the very big difference and the reason why Karadzic will likely spend the rest of his days in a prison.
(icj1,"

You got to be kidding! Nato was boombing: bridges, hospitals, trains etc. I met one man who lost his legs because he was near the place when bombing happened and he went to help civilians. Nato war criminals came minutes later and bombed the same place again killing those who were there to help. They did the same thing in other places in Serbia. If that is not war crime, what is it then? You are the bravest people not because you are not afraid of anything, but because you are not ashamed of anything-as one serb poet said to Croat nazi-Ustasas. Wish you well.

Serbia just got what it asked for. They attacked and occupied provinces of former Yugoslavia that simply had enough of Serb dominance. Serbia killed, raped, looted, performed genocide, massmurder, war crimes wherever they went. It was the worsed nightmare Europe had seen since WWII, and they didn't want to stop. So, it was just right to start a bombing campaign against Serbia to end all this bloodshed. The UN, which Serbia always likes to quote when it thinks it is in its own intrest, even stated that civilians where not purposly targetet in that war, and it was a war to stop Milosevic-Serbia and it's killing machine. There is, and there was nothing wrong about that, just like there was nothing wrong to bomb Germany to stop the Nazi terror. Serbia got what it asked for.

KILLED BY uranium in Kosovo! biden's son got cancer because of NATO bombs

Uranium bombs were widely used by the US army in its recent ME wars.In Iraq, for example,Doctors have for years now reported "a high level of birth defects." Other peer-reviewed studies have documented a dramatic increase in infant mortality, cancer and leukaemia in the aftermath of US military bombardment. In Fallujah, doctors are witnessing a "massive unprecedented number" of heart defects, and an increase in the number of nervous system defects. Analysis of pre-2003 data compared to now showed that "the rate of congenital heart defects was 95 per 1,000 births - 13 times the rate found in Europe."
This is America's overseas legacy. Hiroshima (post-nuclear birth defects), Vietnam (agent orange birth defects), Iraq (depleted uranium birth defects). The fact still remains that none of these US mass killers has ever been prosecuted, let alone imprisoned.

Maybe USA should pack up its opinions, it's advice and condolences - all of which are unwanted and without any meaning and truth. If USA has sympathies about the Serbian dead, they sure as he'll had none at the time. USA would be better shoving it's thoughts of Serbia and it's European future in the next available missile and firing it back where it belongs. USA should go home, if it knew where that actually was because they have made themselves at home in everybody else's country. It has done enough damage and outstayed it unwelcome presence.

My point is that you act like you don't like civilians being targeted but I think you really only find it a problem if it is ethnic Serb civilians that get hurt.

Yeah right, that's why they targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure. They regret nothing except the damage it has done to NATO.
(Zoran, 25 March 2016 11:26)

Well, according to the UN you are wrong because the UN says that although some mistakes were made by NATO, there was no deliberate targeting of civilians or unlawful military targets by NATO during the campaign
----------

Good thing is we are starting to see positive signs in the world. Russia is getting stronger, Trump as said he wants to remove NATO as it costs too much. Corbyn says he wants the UK out of NATO. All positive signs!

I assume you will go to the Srebrenica march in July to show your solidarity with those civilians too

Dwight, you sound American. Do you go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki each year to show your solidarity with the hundreds of thousands of men, women, children, babies and the elderly civilians who were vapourised?

You should read more about Srebrenica to understand what happened, how Clinton set it up. How women and children were allowed to leave. This is a good start -> http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-politics-of-the-srebrenica-massacre/660

Cheers!

I invite you sir to the following experiment. I(Albanian American) will wear "I am Serbian" T-shirt in an American city of your choosing. You must wear a shirt saying "I am Albanian" in Belgrade, Serbia. Let's report the results of this experiment in a week's time here in B92 (assuming you are still alive or not in a hospital somewhere).

Are you up for the challenge?"

Nobody in Beograd would give a damn s**t if you would wear that stupid t-shirt. What is your point? You can enjoy Beograd, be respectful to the common people who live there, but if you do something stupid you can expect a response like anywhere in the world. But nobody is going to attack you by wearing this stupid t-shirt.

Yes I am sure the USA is falling to pieces over this, now that the USA is loving Serbia so much! So any Serbian out there who questions how much the USA loves you just put on a shirt with " I am Serbian " and go to any city in the USA and walk around for a while and you will see how much the USA loves you!!!

Words that mean nothing and only said because they want you in NATO and drawn away from Russia. They are scared of a sympathetic Russian country in the heart of Europe. If I were Serbian d tell him to stuff his regrets and ask Russia to put missiles in your country I believe he would genuinely regret that.

Dwight Oric will never be convicted of anything, he is protected by the west.
US, NATO and UN will never admit that the people they protected were also responsible for war crimes.

Not sure where you get the 1000s number from but yes I would show up to any such commemoration as long as it was a commemeration and not a nationalist rally disguised as a commemeration.
Naser Oric and the other similar players are estimated to have killed 500 people of which 150 were civilians. He should be hanged along with Mladic

Very simple... that is because, according to the UN, although some mistakes were made by NATO, there was no deliberate targeting of civilians or unlawful military targets by NATO during the campaign.
