Hopefully you do not smoke, Sasa, and eat plenty of fruits, vegetables and drink your milk. I notice that Serb football athletes get injured constantly and theorize it is partly from not drinking enough milk.

Thank you for your response Ida,
I don't smoke, quit 15 years ago,eat very healthy food veg's, fruit, lean meat, and drink milk straight from the farm and cow ,where it is boiled first.
Serb's have very healthy lean raw meats and smoked meats without preservatives, especially the poutry ,not that garage that is sold in Western countries. It's just that they "DROWN", they cooking with sunflower oil and pork lard.
Serb's don't cook much with olive Oil.

P's alot of Serb sportsperson like to live the life,by eating alot when their are Saint Day's (SLAVA'S).
When the sportsperson retire ,alot balloon in height.

Yes Serbs tend to eat a heavy, high fat diet and they also smoke a lot. I notice the government does not do much against smoking: I believe they are preferring to patronize foreign tobacco interests over the Serbian people. In fact much of the Serbian government's general policies are more to please foreigners at the expense of Serbs.

I think B92 should also do a campaign for the general population, particularly in the treatment of heart disease and strokes, as this is one of the top killers of Serbs, and can even affect people relatively young.

I have been living in Serbia last 2 and half years, and the diet, food habits that Serb's eat is poor. Cooking their meals with pork lard, instead of olive oil is not helping their heart artilies, and drinking 1 litre of moonshine.
