Russias track rocord when it comes to disinformation and openly lying is extremly bad, and I won't believe Putin and its ruthless mafioso government until this is proven by independant sources. Putin is a master of spreading lies, and doing exactly the oposite what he claims, a dictator which can't be trusted. He simply turns things around, and blames others of exactly what he is doing, and that man has blood on his hands, well he and his ruling clan are soaked in blood. It is just a matter of time until he will end up like the rest of all these other dictators. He has no future, freedom will finally succeed.

Well done to Russia and Putin for bringing much needed peace to Syria after the disaster the West created. Now those military service men and women can go home to their families knowing that they mortally wounded terrorism in Syria while keeping civilian casualties to a bare minimum.

Russia has don a lot of what it wanted, there is no denying it. It has achieved its aim of strengthening Assad, it has also achieved its aim of a permanent strong presence in the area. Even if Assad is killed, Russia has bases there and must be included in any solution for Syria.
Russia has increased its reputation as a power.
There is now a 'ceasefire' in Syria (that Assad and ISIS are not punished for breaking, but if you attack Assad you are breaking the ceasefire LOL)

However, Russia has not achieved its STATED GOAL of stopping IS. Remember this quote? LOL

I am wondering why would the Russians be leaving in the wake of the Turkish and Saudi infiltration into Syria? Shouldn't they be staying? I hope they are not abandoning Syria or otherwise all of their efforts would be in vain.

But Rote we were good to the Russians. Soon as they heard that Croatians were facing them on the other side of the front line. The Russians surrendered by the 10's of thousands. To the Croatians and were happy to not fight for the criminal Stalin and his vile evil criminal gang. We just disarmed them and if their home was on our side of the front line. We just let them go to their homes. Until the Og's constipated Germans got anally upset. Their was only reinforced regiment of Croatians numbering no more then 1500 most of them survived as they were excellent fighters.

Yet Russian experts say that the main reason of the withdrawal is to spoil plans if the Brits who prepare bandits in Lybia for invasion under a flag of the “moderate opposition” as well as the plans of Turkey and the S.Arabia to launch land operations. And of course the USA is aware of it all. So all of them are at a loss now. As well as the media who does not know why Russia is wrong or weak this time. Then what about the multiple Croat pilots on Messerschmitts who made above 5000 combat flights, suffered losses and surrendered in 1944? Finally about the 369 infantry regiment that you has mentioned. It was at least 3900 men strong, though some say there were 6300 Croats in the unit. One day before the Russian attack there remained only 191 of Croats but in a few days things changed for worse and only 20-30 were happy to surrender.

Listen Leo I can understand when you go crazy about the Serbs but now you stop to be reasonable when it comes to the Russians too. How could you even imagine that a Croat can face a Russian? Leave those fantasies for Ustasha night clubs. You can shoot only “how I won the war story” films where your guys sing well enough. So compete in festivals but never on a battlefield. You got a point there that it's the good job with the propaganda that keeps somebody like Putin in power, not good governance!

We see a lot of movement from Russian aircraft. But those aircraft have been very busy and have suffered a lot of wear and tear. When they are all repaired, tuned up and ready to go again, we may see them back. What looks like a withdrawal can easily become a rotation.

Meanwhile they have a well supplied and fortified air base in Khmeimim.
