Russians to stop shipping gas to Serbia via Ukraine in 2019

Serbia will definitely be left without Russian gas shipped through Ukraine in 2019, "and will by then have to find a way to get gas."

Dear Sarah, almost everything can be done for the right price. Extracting oil and gas through shale rock fracking is an example. If somebody is willing to pay the right price, US gas producers would ship gas to the Moon, let alone to Europe. This has nothing to be with thr US debt. For you being there is the States, you appear to be clueless!
(icj1, 14 March 2016 14:30)

There is something seriously wrong with our resident Albanian Idiot and I do mean seriously wrong. But it may all come down to living off social security all its life and having little to no understanding of what Sarah is talking about.
Once again the Idiot strikes by shooting itself in the foot. Dear Idiot you have to throw away that Pristina University textbook on voodoo economics.

But, as always, I agree with the CE of B92 forums sj that everybody alive should throw away the textbook from any university and instead educate themselves with the teachings of sj-onomics, like I have done, making great profits as a result of that :)

You count on the American gas? Let me give you the perspective . To transfer the US gas over the ocean with tankers you have to turn gas into liquid, meaning : to compress and keep it cool, the very expensive process. But to be able to do that, first you have to build on both sides of the Atlantic huge facilities, on the European side to do decompressing, turning liquid into gas. We here, in the States, can't afford to do anything with 20 trillion $ in the red. Specially if Trump is elected it's out of the question. He is going to renegotiate every globalist treaty with Europe and the rest of the world. If the old Rino McCain told you that you can count on us, us meaning US ,to be toasty in winter, he is either delusional , or he lies as he often does . It ain't gonna happen ! At least not in the next 50 years, if ever.

The construction of a trans Adriatic pipeline by 2019 is only possible if you borrow Harry Potter’s magic wand. If they commenced today you would be lucky to have gas flowing by 2045/2050. It takes about a minimum of 5 years for planning and financing and this is if everything goes smoothly. In fact you’re looking at anywhere between 7 and 10 years before a sod is turned over.
Then comes the real question, would it be financially beneficial to an investor to build a pipeline from the Adriatic through Albania, which is very mountainous, to Kosovo? What kind of price would they have to set? I guess it would have to be much more than in Montenegro.

Until 2019 there will be another pipeline in the Balkans. Trans Adriatic Pipeline. The original route doesn`t include Serbia, but it would be easy to build a route Albania - Kosovo - Serbia, or Albania - Montenegro - Kosovo - Serbia.

The last problem will face EU in 2019 is Gas.. There is plenty of it and consumption is stagnating..And for the 2019 new routes will be available..
Only in Serbia it seems THAT SOMEONE CAN'T SLEEP.. by the way if you want only Russian gas you can have it from North stream 1-2 or from the Belarus -poland pipe and maybe from ( if Gazprom finds the money ) the new-old Black sea project that was sign in Rome 2 week ago...
Be calm ..

(svabo, 11 March 2016 16:01)

What money refunded? You mean the money Serbia lost for giving away NIS(including domestic gas resources worht more than a billion $) to Gazprom for some peanuts? Vecause, of course, the South Stream deal was 'not connected' with the 'sale' of NIS which happened without a public tender.
Sorry, it's Russia that f**d Serbia with this deal, and you might have serious doubts if they ever would have build South Stream at all under the current circumstances.

If somebody is willing to pay the right price, US gas producers would ship gas to the Moon, let alone to Europe. This has nothing to be with thr US debt. For you being there is the States, you appear to be clueless!
(icj1, 14 March 2016 14:30) #

Einstein in action, go back and read your "Economic" textbooks from Pristina University. There is no demand and supply curves that could be met to ship natural gas across the Atlantic, zero, none!

Didn't Serbia, as well as Bulgaria, bend under EU pressure to stop the work on South Stream pipeline? Eventually Russia, with no way through, killed the project all together. Who is the guilty party now? I say Bulgaria and Serbia.

(Sarah, 14 March 2016 04:12)

Dear Sarah, almost everything can be done for the right price. Extracting oil and gas through shale rock fracking is an example. If somebody is willing to pay the right price, US gas producers would ship gas to the Moon, let alone to Europe. This has nothing to be with thr US debt. For you being there is the States, you appear to be clueless!

Dule, trouble is that most of the funding came from western banks even according to your 'orthodox brother' Putin. If west doesn't want to fund a project to a little brother of an aggressive state, than it wont. Business in civilized world is not conducted in away your national hero Arkan did in 1990s. Serbia and Bulgaria could of course pay it for themselves, that should be hilarious to watch.

Serbia had all chances to become gas transport country but didn't use that unfortunately, even knowing about possible problems with supply through Ukraine. So before blaming somebody else it should also admit its own fails.

This is actually a blessing for Serbia from Russia.

If it is smart, it can use this to great advantage.

Be smart. Play your cards right in this situation.

The only problem, factman, Serbia is playing Go Fish while the other countries are playing Bridge.

(Michael Thomas, 12 March 2016 09:33)

Yes, sure, energy independence. Because, in Serbia, there are only electric vehicles and electric vehicles. Good to have energy experts here, and not only Chief economists.

P.S: It might sound cruel, but somehow it would be a good lesson for Serbians what is the great 'Russian friendship' like, if in 2019 citizens would have to sit in the cold. But probably they would blame NATO, EU and 'The west' even in that case :)
(Comm. Parrisson, 11 March 2016 15:58

Yes, EU is definitely to blame. Wasn't it them who put pressure on Bulgaria to kill the project? If it wasn't them who was it then?

There is something seriously wrong with our resident Albanian Idiot and I do mean seriously wrong. But it may all come down to living off social security all its life and having little to no understanding of what Sarah is talking about.
Once again the Idiot strikes by shooting itself in the foot. Dear Idiot you have to throw away that Pristina University textbook on voodoo economics.

I think you quoted the wrong post since I did not write anywhere about what is wrong or right with the person you are referring to.

But, as always, I agree with the CE of B92 forums sj that everybody alive should throw away the textbook from any university and instead educate themselves with the teachings of sj-onomics, like I have done, making great profits as a result of that :)
