If NATO was incapable of saving Syria from the Russians then what is NATO good for?
(sj, 8 March 2016 12:46)

Hmm, I'm not sure Syria is a NATO member that NATO should save from Russia! But I totally agree, as always, that if the CE of B92 forums sj commands that Syria must become a NATO member, it is the duty of both Syria and NATO to carry out that command.

Ahh! our resident Albanian Idiot is talking to oneself which is a sign of madness and I’d have to lean to that theory considering its message is lost to everyone else but itself.
Keep up the entertainment.

I'm not sure who the person you are referring to is or whom he or she is talking to, but for myself I can certainly say that I'm so excited to be talking to the CE of B92 forums sj and even getting my writings discussed in the writings of the CE of B92 forums sj :)

Why you see like a weakness what Nato did in Turkey? Is - Responsibility not weakness!
Who the hell Turks think they are to decide to be involved in a war for their purposes without asking Nato members before???
And why Nato members should send their sons die for a Tukey caprice? Even Russia decide to be involved in Syria after different negotiations with US, and Nato.
Are the Turkish borders in danger by Russia? NO!! Till then Russia must show the force just in M.E.

Syria is vital to US interests as they planned to pipe oil and gas from SA, Iraq and UEA to a Syrian port thus bypassing all other hotspots. Despite the US being Turkey’s ally it does not trust Turkey. If there were problems with Iran the straits of Hormuz could be closed by Iran thus stopping all oil from these oil producing countries. The US needs a country they could totally control.

Turkey did not get up one morning and decided on its own to shot down a Russian jet. It was planned by the US to close the Bosphorus to Russia and then choke supplies to Russian military and their allies. Turkey can only close the Bosphorus if there was a conflict and by seeking Russian retaliation that is what would have happened.
Once the Bosphorus was closed NATO could step in. Do you recall the statements coming from NATO HQ? How they supported Turkey and Turkey had the right to protect its airspace…..Do you recall the “evidence” NATO had confirming the Russian jet being in Turkey when it was shot down???? It was shot down in Syrian airspace.
Russia did not negotiate its entry in Syria with NATO or the US. It only talked to the US on avoiding an incident involving their respect aircraft.
No one asks whether they want their sons to die. When it starts people are never asked.
If NATO was incapable of saving Syria from the Russians then what is NATO good for? Riot control?

I think you will find that if Russia had any concerns what Nikolic signed there would have been a change of government in Belgrade by now. Nikolic and Vucic would have been removed.
Russia is not concerned for a couple of reasons, the first is that NATO is no longer a force to be reckoned with, as has been shown with Turkey rushing off to NATO seeking its involvement after downing the Russian jet and getting the cold shoulder from fellow members. The second reason involves the Rand Corporation which recently conducted a series of computer analysis on the effectiveness of NATO and its proposed 30,000 response force against any Russian aggression in the Baltics. Russian forces were able to destroy, encircle or bypass any NATO force in its way and the Baltic countries would be lost in less than 24 hours.
Thirdly, we now see that in the Syrian conflict the US has had to make many concessions to Russia during these peace talks that even the Free Syrian opposition is complaining.
Djukanovic has gone very quiet since Russia tapped him on the shoulders and the demonstrations continue in Montenegro.

Yeah, go and tell Uncle Vlad that you've betrayed him by making it legal for Nato to roam Serbia and do as they wish. If you're so neutral, at least offer the Russians the same AND MORE in Nis.
