Minister confirms he bought apartment from gangster's wife

Health Minister Zdravko Loncar has confirmed that he bought an apartment in Belgrade from the wife of a member of the Zemun Clan crime gang.

The minister then remarked it was "much more important whether KRIK has paid all the taxes that the state is supposed to live on."

Why doesn't such a remark surprise me? Well, it's a Serb minister, always blaming others. And even if he 'bought' and not 'received' the apartment, the price would be interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a special offer.

But okay, he's not the first Serbian Minister with contact to a mafia boss. And of course, they never knew about what these persons were, they always thought they were honorable businessmen.
