Having a great relationship with a country doesn't mean you have to adopt that country's laws or culture. The US is BFF with SA but it doesn't mean they have to live like them. An alliance with Russia is the best thing for Serbia. Serbia is free to reform any way they want. Serbia is already going in western direction as far as businesses and investments are concerned. They can have investments from a variety of countries and prosper without having to sell out to NATO.
Russia isn't demanding that Serbia sever ties with EU or the rest of the world but the US and EU are. They showed that when they wanted Serbia to join in their sanctions against Russia. Too bad for them as Serbia is not a member of EU so they couldn't force it.

For over one hundred years now, from the beginings of the industrial revolution, yes not only Serbian people but pretty much all in the Balkans who had to because of holocast or prisioner of war status and then the ones who needed to escape poverty for lack of sustainable lands. Yes in the past there was demand for entry level manufacturing that paid desireable wages in the West and Germany, this was a magnet and the ones who could or had to left the Balkans. But that pretty much the same world wide, not only from the Balkans. Again we bring up these unreasonable questions regarding Russia! So the questions now are why Serbian people did not imigrate to Russia in droves, so maybe the true intensions of the question is that we Serbian people vacate the Balkans and exile to Russia? Why are the conditions in the Balkans so negative regarding the economy, especially since the 1990's when our Jugoslavia was fragmented by Satan? How many people from the Balkans departed between the years of 1945 and 1992, Jugoslavia was the United States of the Balkans and Satan did not accept that, right? Serbia should not be too absorbed with Russia and Putin. Putin is not all there is to the RF. Serbia should always keep in mind that a strong Serbia and a vital Serbian community is better for Serbia than a good relationship with Russia.

It is only natural that Serbia have a good relationship with Russians and the only reason Serbs become obsessive about it is because of interference and aggression from the EU about it. EU hostility towards Serbia and Russia do a lot to confuse the relationship between the two for everyone.

Serbia should not be too absorbed with Russia and Putin. Putin is not all there is to the RF. Serbia should always keep in mind that a strong Serbia and a vital Serbian community is better for Serbia than a good relationship with Russia.

It is only natural that Serbia have a good relationship with Russians and the only reason Serbs become obsessive about it is because of interference and aggression from the EU about it. EU hostility towards Serbia and Russia do a lot to confuse the relationship between the two for everyone.

Having a great relationship with a country doesn't mean you have to adopt that country's laws or culture. The US is BFF with SA but it doesn't mean they have to live like them. An alliance with Russia is the best thing for Serbia. Serbia is free to reform any way they want. Serbia is already going in western direction as far as businesses and investments are concerned. They can have investments from a variety of countries and prosper without having to sell out to NATO.

The voracity of your statements is very low. There were Serb workers in Sochi but when they asked for their salary they were thrown out by Russian immigration services. So they are not still there as you claim. And I doubt they will go back.

Have another read of your post and see if you can spot flaws. One major one is that the term you are looking for is greasy not oily. Sasa was right in pointing that oily is the wrong word to use.
