Please inform me what is being done in a legislative sense to extend the time limitation to make a claim on behalf of myself and family. I live in Australia and have travelled there many times only to be met by corrupt lawyers and extortion? Since most of my family have now either been exterminated or have past on the property is not heirless!

Personally, I always viewed Jews as brothers who suffered same fate as we Serbs had in the Independent state of Croatia and elsewhere in Balkans and Europe during German Nazi occupation. I still remember story from my late grandmother when she went in futile attempt to seek and save my unlawfully arrested grandfather in prison in Gospic, Independent State Croatia in 1941 that "She saw in prison yard large group of nice dressed gentlemen, probably Jews waiting to be executed in Jadovno concentration camp or somewhere else".
It is great step to remove just small part of injustice against our fellow citizens of Jewish origin who suffered terrible consequences under Nazi German occupation of Serbia and with direct support in these unthinkable crimes from Nedic's puppet goverment. Serbia was first country in world who officially endorsed Balfour Declaration in 1917 which pressed for creation of Israel as state where Jews will live free without danger to be discriminated, ghettoised, persecuted, killed, and this law is again positive move from our state.

The Tito argument,

Serbs, or any other jugoslavian countries, are not 'really' entitled to retribution as an agreement was entered into by all parties, it was called Jugoslavia and it had its own laws regarding seizing of properties. My grandparents lost some property also.

The Serbian government a few years ago, quite a few, had an initiative to return property to the rightful owners, but due to the severity and how wide scale it was, many people were left with a lot less. We are talking about ownership spreading hundreds of years and much of it did not have 'tapije' or land titles.

What the Serb government should do is start to form a case claiming malice on behalf of Tito's dictator ship and show a timeline of settlement of Albanians in Kosovo. Proving that even the communist leader wanted to ruin Serbia is a start.

The amount stated over 25 years for the Jewish organization is rather high, but there is no doubt it was taken from them.

Tito hated Serbia, plain and simple. I used to listen to my grandfather saying, there may be work we may have security, but if people like this are left to run Serbia, our grandchildren will have nothing.

For Serbs robbed by the communists under Tito, you would think that "privatization" might start by returning that property. Why isn't the problem addressed there?

Consider that Kosovo was one of the things robbed from the Serbs under Tito.

It is absolutely right to compensate losses since international property rights are at stake. Genealogy researches are also important for eventually tracing unknown living relatives. Genealogists have prepared a pool of resources.

When will the property that Tito's Communists took from Serbs who were forced into the diaspora be given back?

When will they get their day in court?

The property of Jews murdered by Germans in Serbia is to be distributed to other Jews. I don't see that this is justified. The handful of Serbia's Jews who have remained in Serbia have no more legal or moral right to that property than do I. It is not their property and never was. On the other hand, there are many Serbs whose property was seized by Tito’s communists. Some of these Serbs are still alive and those who have passed away have living descendants. Are these Serbs going to have their property rights restored? I very much doubt it. No one cares for ordinary Serbs, not even their own government.
