Protocol gaffe in Geneva turns Russian flag into "Serbian"

Good way for Americans to save some money. No need for a Russian and Serbian flag when you can use the same one, just turn it upside down.

What a bunch of Loosers that don't have a clue of how a flag is suppose to look like,,, and these are the people in the US government?? wow ,now we know the intelligence of the US government workforce

State Secretary Hillary Clinton presented Sergei Lavrov with a symbolic gift and the word "overload" (peregruzka) attached to a red button.

But the Russian word they wished to use was "perezagruzka" ("reset") - as a symbol of "resetting of relations."

Your remark above is rather petty.

Could it be the Russians and Serbs lacked imagination when it came to designing their flags, hence, the understandable confusion. If they had used some creativity to come up with unique flags like the Americans and Albanians did, the incident could have been avoided.
