Lenny is right.

ASS (Air Serbia Services) is in breech of the open skies agreement, and has been dodging summonses from courts in Croatia and Germany.

They are selling tickets to and from EU countries that they have no right to sell. It is only a matter of time before Croatia stops them flying there, and since Croatia is an EU member, it's a case of one in-all in , and ASS will not be flying anywhere in the EU.

Fas my theory is Etihad is breaking the rules on purpose. It wants to pull the plug on Air Serbia. It will get Croatia and Germany to do it. Then look squeaky clean outside but dirty rotten stinkers inside. With these subterfuge statements. Air Serbia is today the leading brand among Europe's small airlines and, says James Hogan, president and CEO of Etihad Airways. They had nothing to do it golly gee whiz what happened aaa.

There is an old Serbian saying and it goes something like, if there were no dogs and Croats in the world who would keep on barking. Croatia couldn’t scratch its arse let alone pull a plug on anything. I hear the Austrians would not write off any of Croatia’s loans LOL.

Etihad saved Jat and turned it into Air Serbia when no one wanted to touch it. No Russian company, no Chinese (you really want a chinese airline instead of one of the world's top airlines running the show).

Anyway. They're no getting rid of them. They own Air Serbia. They are Air Serbia.

The only one who should be grounded is you for your stupid comments.
By the way Croatian Ailines couldn't ground a pigeon. Its the EASA, European aviation saftey agency, who has the power to do that. You croats can't do sh.t.

I second that, but I found that it was kind of nice that there is no inflight entertainment system, though my trip this summer was much shorter.

I flew via Belgrade to Podgorica and it is clear that they are very well looked after, modern A319 planes, a couple I noticed had extra bumps and lumps on top of the fuselage which I assume was for SATCOMMS.

Croatian Airlines and Lufthansa will have it grounded because it breaks the rules when it flies to EU country's. Serb airline knows the rules but it plays stupid, lets see how stupid it will be. Proceedings have started against Air Serbia it still pretend it didn't do anything wrong.

...And drop "Etihad" for God´s sake. Why should Serbia have any business with a wahhabi company from the medieval planet-of-the-apes-monarchies in the Gulf?

Partner up with Russia or China instead, As if (still) being a US occupied country with a US imposed quisling cult as "government" wasn´t bad enough....

I have flown Air Serbia and it is true, it is a good airline with one minor problem....no entertainment system. For around Europe it is ok but when flying from Abu Dhabi 5+ hours it gets boring and tedious. Invest in entertainment and you will truly have a world class airline.
