There is something about this woman that really irks me. There was absolutely no need to comment on what a foreign dignitary might have remarked.
Especially one from a country that has helped us significantly last year and is doing so now.

Serbia in its current state is far better than Romania or Bulgaria. Hungary has not moved on millimetre since joining and of course we have Poland which has over 2 million of its citizens either working or looking for work outside their country.
I worked with a lady from Poland who was absent from her country of birth for about 12 years and in 2013 she went back. What was it like? She said nothing had changed much except they had some improved roads, but the worst part was bringing in the Euro or as she said they pay them in Zlotys, but all the prices are in Euros.

Peggy, Serbia due to politics of 1990 is in very bad economic position it needs access to EU funds which is in Billions now that process has started and due to its geography it has no choice.

To be like Norway or Swiss you need Oil or Banks which Serbia does not have ( what they had it went to Russia in Nis) so this leaves it as only choice.

EU wont make Serbia great but it will give it a better chance but EU for all East countries are looked as cheap educated labor why go to China or Vietnam when u cut transport cost and ppl of balkans will do same thing.

"Just take Kosovo: back then, UN bodies decided that Kosovo should become independent of Serbia"

"Kosovo declared independence and the whole world accepted it"

Those statements sound very harmful for Serbia and, as far as I know, this certain Vladimir Putin is the President of Russia!

Even evil countries like US have never made statements as harmful as what Vladimir said in regards to UN decisions about or world's acceptance of Kosovo's independence.

She has been standing up to Srbijagas management and Gazprom as they attempt to sell& buy Serbian peoples assets for their own personal gain and for Russia's gain at the expense of Serbia.
Unlike many of the politicians she seems to have earned the position. (I could be proved wrong though as I know she has been involved with MegaTrend)

B92, why would you quote an official reacting to something that somebody else said without quoting what it was the second party was saying. Otherwise the reaction is just gibberish. I think this official was just babbling, but I would have to hear what it is she was talking about before I could be sure.

So many countries not in EU and yet they have their affairs in order. Maybe she is saying that Serbia is such a baby that she cannot think like a grownup and needs her EU mommy.

Peggy, Serbia due to politics of 1990 is in very bad economic position it needs access to EU funds which is in Billions now that process has started and due to its geography it has no choice.

To be like Norway or Swiss you need Oil or Banks which Serbia does not have ( what they had it went to Russia in Nis) so this leaves it as only choice.

EU wont make Serbia great but it will give it a better chance but EU for all East countries are looked as cheap educated labor why go to China or Vietnam when u cut transport cost and ppl of balkans will do same thing.

Its choosing your exploiter in the end EU, Arabs, China ( left Russia out as without oil they dont have much to offer, and they just left Serbia with infrastructure for South Stream to corrode).

This is only alternative being blasted by TV day and night, people travel to Hungary and they have better life now than in Serbia, where in 1990 when a Yugoslav went there must have seemed like a horror movie, but this is the price of stupid war. Fight to reunite in EU

What has her academic record got to do with anything? Are you saying that because she has certain qualifications she cannot be a traitor and working for the other side?
Russia has been there for us and Russia doesn't wish us any harm, unlike the US so telling Russia to mind their own business is not on. We disagree on this and that's fine but please don't use her education to defend her. Patriotism can be present in uneducated people just like tretchery can be present in the educated.

Well, a certain Vladimir Putin made the following statements just last week:

"Just take Kosovo: back then, UN bodies decided that Kosovo should become independent of Serbia"

"Kosovo declared independence and the whole world accepted it"

Those statements sound very harmful for Serbia and, as far as I know, this certain Vladimir Putin is the President of Russia!

Even evil countries like US have never made statements as harmful as what Vladimir said in regards to UN decisions about or world's acceptance of Kosovo's independence.

But, I totally understand that some so-called "Serbs" would rather dump Serbia than saying something against Russia, even when Russia makes statements that would clearly be traitorous if any Serb were to make them!

The only way you can ever hope to discredit a statement is if you are successful at distorting it.
This is what counts.
Russia has not joined "the world" in recognizing Kosovo nor will it without Serbia doing it first. Russia has not bombed Serbia and caused deaths of Serbs and enormeous damage. US has done both. Words don't hurt like bombs do and even if Russia meant what they said the way you portray it, it still doesn't mean anything positive for you.
When Russia betrays Serbia come back and tell me not to support Russia. I won't be holding my breath.
