Over the last decades, more and more countries of the former warsaw pact asked for becoming NATO members. Having in mind what they experienced being under the yoke of the former Soviet Union for more than 3 decades, it's only natural that they wouldn't like to make this experience again.
And what happens to countries close to Russia which were not NATO members you could see last year. So the fears of Poland, Romania and all the other new NATO members have proven to be well founded, in retrospect.

Last week, the Croatian President was in the US looking at the “superior training facilities” in Ohio and she was asked if Croatia would buy Apache attack helicopters. She answered not now maybe sometime in the future.
Now if they cannot afford to buy the helicopters now who do you think is paying for the missiles? No they don’t come free as being part of NATO you have to share the burden, yes it’s Croatia. Consequently, I would not worry too much about those missiles as the best Zagreb could afford is a catapult launched missile otherwise there will be a huge hole in their budget to pay for some antiquated piece of US flying scrap steel..

The JNA barracks were seized in both Croatia and Bosnia by local militia's and the JNA eventually reacted. Slovenia, Croatia and the Bosnian Muslims had more than enough weapons to start a war or there would have not been one. The KLA was armed by Albania over the borders mainly in Djakovica hence why that region was pummelled by the Serbian army. The political landscape has changed and the Russian traitor Yeltsin is no longer in power, if Croatia is stupid enough to attack Serbia, it will cease to exist and don't think NATO will come to the rescue. Just look at Turkey which is now under the control or Russian airspace and Nato just idly watches.

Now if they cannot afford to buy the helicopters now who do you think is paying for the missiles? No they don’t come free as being part of NATO you have to share the burden, yes it’s Croatia. Consequently, I would not worry too much about those missiles as the best Zagreb could afford is a catapult launched missile otherwise there will be a huge hole in their budget to pay for some antiquated piece of US flying scrap steel..

Serbia will learn an important lesson in the future, one of many. It is to learn that putting together YouTube videos of "special forces" will not equate to battlefield successes. Imagine, Serbia surrendered only after 80+ days under a weak bombing from 20,000 feet what would happen now. The JNA barracks were seized in both Croatia and Bosnia by local militia's and the JNA eventually reacted. Slovenia, Croatia and the Bosnian Muslims had more than enough weapons to start a war or there would have not been one. The KLA was armed by Albania over the borders mainly in Djakovica hence why that region was pummelled by the Serbian army. The political landscape has changed and the Russian traitor Yeltsin is no longer in power, if Croatia is stupid enough to attack Serbia, it will cease to exist and don't think NATO will come to the rescue. Just look at Turkey which is now under the control or Russian airspace and Nato just idly watches.

Over the last decades, more and more countries of the former warsaw pact asked for becoming NATO members. Having in mind what they experienced being under the yoke of the former Soviet Union for more than 3 decades, it's only natural that they wouldn't like to make this experience again.
And what happens to countries close to Russia which were not NATO members you could see last year. So the fears of Poland, Romania and all the other new NATO members have proven to be well founded, in retrospect.
