The obvious clarity is that serbs don't want to support the churches aspirations to regain Kosovo, they are mainly a bunch of crooks and having Kosovo back will serve them in the next century as an assurance to have there pockets filled.
The game for the serb government at the moment is how to get Kosovo back without making it a religious cause, the church pays no tax, for all I know, and yet will benefit from Kosovo's return.
The reason we'll take it back slowly, is the amount of invested time and money that went into building and maintaining it in the first place.
In Vucic's eyes it is visible that he has a big question mark regarding the church, believe me, one can se one self.

The reality is that historically the Serb and Albanian people co existed satisfactorily within Kosovo/Serbia, it was only with the advent of polarising nationalistic and sectarian politics and the fragmenting of what was Yugoslavia and the horror of the 1990s war that produced the current arrangements. These arrangements are not sustainable economically for either Kosovo or Serbia, and they are not fair to the Serbian people who have lived for many generations in Kosovo. Further reinforcement of that fragmentation will only result in continued economic hardships and tension for both entities.
A continued EU brokered dialogue is required in order to enable an outcome of sufficiently mutual satisfaction and respect.At the heart of this problem are two ancient and wonderful cultures. They should be mature enough to find a satisfactory way of living together.

What kind of multiculure you want in Kosovo when you are not allowing Serbs who have churches there older then anything albanians have? We all know the truth about Kosovo, its politics from the west who destroy everything. Its a shame how in todays society more people are uneducated and dont know that Kosovo has always been zeta which has been Serbia. No matter what a typical albanian believes as long as he or she is born in Kosovo they are Serbian.

He is entitled to an opinion and I and others are entitled to disagree. What does he mean that he doesn't want Serbia in Kosovo? Talk about having a laugh. The IC made the declaration of independence possible and the quid pro quo is that Kosovo Albanians have to peacefully co-exist with Serbs, not imply that they should all clear out of Kosovo. What more does he want? Merging with Albania with all costs paid by Belgrade? Immediate entry to the EU? A go with Obana's wife every other weekend? How about a bit of humility and gratitude?
You think the past 25 year interlude of Clintonian adventurism overwrites Serbia and America's friendship? You think policy doesn't go into sunset and then change to adjust to new realities?
1990-1999 might as well be 500 years ago. It means nothing anymore in the general scheme of things and what challenges the world has today.
New realities are happening every day and Serbia is doing a great job at positioning itself -- because it has a lot to offer.
America has always been Serbia's friend..... and Serbia always was pro-USA. Always.
And that friendship is again on the rise and two primary reasons are the reasons I specify below. Business and the Fight against Islamic terrorism.

Maybe he should beg the US to take Kosovo as the 51. state instead of taking steps to closer integration with the EU?

The obvious clarity is that serbs don't want to support the churches aspirations to regain Kosovo, they are mainly a bunch of crooks and having Kosovo back will serve them in the next century as an assurance to have there pockets filled.
The game for the serb government at the moment is how to get Kosovo back without making it a religious cause, the church pays no tax, for all I know, and yet will benefit from Kosovo's return.
The reason we'll take it back slowly, is the amount of invested time and money that went into building and maintaining it in the first place.
In Vucic's eyes it is visible that he has a big question mark regarding the church, believe me, one can se one self.
How pointless this last pro K-ALB comment is, I have already forgotten the persons name.

Those old churches in the middle of Albanian villages TODAY is because there were NO Albanian villages at that time. Albanians invaded Kosovo from Albania.
Gustave: Do you not understand irony? I was pointing out that he is taking the piss by expecting that the IC would support independence and ask nothing in return. His suggestion that Serbia should get out of Kosovo is as plausible as the things I mentioned, which is why I wrote them. I wouldn't pass wind with Dodik let alone share a drink with him.
