Here's another fact. All those other groups you claim are not IS are in fact exactly that. They are all radical Islamists with same values doing the same damage to non Muslims as the "official IS" are so your comment is not really well thought out.

It took Russia to get involved for others to be shamed enough into actually doing something over there. Russia is doing a lot of damage to IS over there. US would like us to think that Russia is targeting opposition to Assad more than IS when in fact all the groups there apart from Syrian army are radical Islamists determined to bring Sharia throughout so yes they are all IS.

It is interesting to note that after the attack in Paris the French government put on a show of anger and sent in planes to bomb ISIS. It came out that in one week they only hit 5 targets while the Russians hit something like 350. Meanwhile the UK hit one in a month and that was using a drone.
Now that is what I call a real effort. If anyone had any doubts about US and their allies not supporting ISIS then here is the proof.
This is not a defeat for ISIS as it does not fight frontal wars, but they retreat and then move to another area so at any given time they still hold the same amount of territory

95% of the combat opposition to Assad are nothing better han IS. Some of them cut throats from left to the right and some from right side to the left. Some cut out and eat only human hearts and livers while the others eat the lungs too. Even the shqiptars were not noticed in cannibalism. So how can we discuss IS as something different from all other beasts that now run in panic? Russian media give us a detailed description of the Syrian war on a daily basis. So we can follow the events. the short of it is that the Syrian army is seizing cities and villages every day. They attack on almost all the fronts while the bandits are in panic. Many of them surrender especially after the cold came. Some flew to Gayrope and many were killed. Russian planes attack the gangs from Russia first. Surpassingly half of them were eliminated but some flew to Turkey. The gangs are demoralized also because most of their leaders were killed. And here the USA is of a great help for us because they do not need witnesses of their previous job. So the gang commanders came to realize that they have nowhere to run. Yet the Saudites withdrew many of their gangs including IS to Yemen where the kingdom is suffering combat and moral catastrophe. So they provoke a war with Iran to compel the US join them. Existence od several states is questioned today in the region – Turkey, Syria, Saudistan, Bahrein and Iraq while both the USA and Russia support the idea of Kurdistan.

Yes, a small amount of American ground troops are still in Iraq and air support is available from several other countries/bases in the region. Russia, however, is not in Iraq and calling me an Albanian boy doesn't change that. I'm American btw with no ethnic roots to the region. You think only Serbs, Croats, and Albanians comment here?
