A Kosovo army? What for? Every Albanian, other than the corrupt leaders, are trying to get out of Kosovo. Who will this army defend, the criminals that are left there?

I nominate the tough-talking 'Azir the Coward' as the first General of the Kosovo armed forces. Your people are calling you Azir. They deserve you. LOL!!

But who is going to pay for this mighty Kosova army? Yes you have to pay, it does not come free.

It amazes me that people actually talk as if this Kosova ranks only second to the US in wealth and can afford an army LOL. They can if the EU funds it LOL.

Avni Mazreku, an expert on EU integration, told the daily Zeri that the formation of the army "should have been a priority for many previous governments."

I'm not an expert, but I think instead of nonsense symbolic action and unnecessary mega project, for all previous Kosovo governments it should had been a priority to make the daily life of the citizens better, i.e. trying to improve the economy and create jobs, so that people don't need to leave their dream state to Europe as soon as possible, with many of them being fake asylum seekers. It's understandable when people have to live with 3€/day.

"According to him, without an army "Kosovo is not a real state, instead it is functioning like some semi-state."

Kosovo has never been a real state, has always a semi-state, and further more, unfortunately, this semi-state is not even functioning but rotten and corrupt to the bone, controlled by mafia groups and leaders who play politicians and political parties.

There are two aspects of Kosova having an Army:

1. Political Aspect: The creation of an official Army would mark another importent step to full independency and recognition. It would also remind Serbia and its people of the reality that Kosova is de jure and de facto independent.

2. Security Aspect: We need an Army to protect our territorial integrity from Serbia. Specially since the tune from Serbia (Politic, Church, Society) is still that of warmongeres and not that of the-peace-loving nation they claim to be. People forget that "taking back" Kosova would result in another war. But this time, its against a professional army with assistance from the beginning. Its not 98/99 anymore and there are no Serbian troops in Kosova. As an independent country, Kosova has also the right to ask for Military aid from allies without waiting for UN or Nation decisions.

However, an Army is expensive and I think we have more important tasks right now than an Army. As long as Nato stays we can focus on more important things such as infrastructure, education and healthcare. FSK is going to be transformed, either 2016 or 2017, into Kosovo Army and from my point of view, thats enough for the moment.

BTW: Its crazy how Serbs in Serbia go nuts over Thaqi but the Serbian List in Kosovo is in a coalition with him.
