Slovenians vote against same sex marriage

I thought Slovenia was more liberal than this ....

Walter: It's possible to be liberal without condoning same sex marriage or gay adoption. After all, Liberals or liberals have been around for centuries but same sex marriage/gay adoption are very recent phenomena. I am surprised that the two laws were part of the same referendum; not everyone who supports the right of two adults to marry each other is equally supportive of a child being brought up by either two men or two women. It's possible that on its own the gay marriage law would have been supported, albeit not by the Catholic church.

More Catholic license in the Balkans. The EU will be silent.

Very good news - Slovenia is where East Europe starts so at least there is hope for East Europe.

The 0.01% where he is not right and what makes me upset is merely his style.

That 0.01% makes someone a pro-Albanian hypocrite or not. The 99.99% is where I agree with him. The 0.01% is where I ridicule him and call him names.
