"Up to Serbia to decide on referendum on EU membership"

Serbs should think about the future of Serbia and that is to have big families again other wise Serbia will not be Serbia in the near future....population getting smaller and smaller that has to change now because having 1 kid or no kids that means no future.....wake up Serbia and think about having a lot of kids.....I have 4 kids.......and happy......so should all of Serbia.....and everyone rich should have minimum 6 kids......

It is difficult to plan on having children when the the average Serb is barely keeping their own heads above water.

The Serbian economy is a joke, unemployment, GDP

Political (Federal & Municipal) corruption runs rampant, still fighting a lost battle for Kosovo, wasting taxpayer dollars.

The logic of both the "EU & Kosovo" is ridiculous, Kosovo is already lost and the EU may also be if the Serbs get sucked into the Russian sphere / influence. There is no longer a Russian sphere in the Balkans.

Serbia is already surrounded by EU / NATO countries and more to be added soon.

Russia is only using Serbia and Kosovo model to benefit its own interests closer to Mother Russia example (Crimea, Eastern Ukraine and Georgia).

Russia will drop Serbia like a lump of coal when they don't need them any more, like it has in the past.

It would be very odd if there was not a referendum. The UK is having one when it is completely unnecessary so one would think that Serbia will seek the consent of the people before joining the EU. Mind you, it won't be for a while!
