They've got it about right. Kosovo/a is unbalanced you only have to see their democracy at work in the parliament building. That is if you can see through the tear gas clouds!

Tony: Trust me, Bosnia will not sail through any negotiations. It has repeatedly failed to deliver even the most modest reforms and even the usually pliant EU politicians and officials have lost patience. One half of the country is led by a man who wants to break up the country rather than see it join the EU in its current form. The other half is in permanent crisis with failed coalitions and a constant merry go round of the same old faces swapping jobs or passing them on to relatives/friends.

@Tony we know you're a Serb in Berlin.
Enough with your nonsense dude, Germnay will definitely make sure Serbia is not the one to cause problems in Balkans anymore.
Serbia would love not to join EU only if they had the slightest hope Russia could save them. As much as serbia hates EU, mainly for their support of Kosova, they still want to join in because they know EU is their best shot at reviving Serbias economy.

Lunacek and the EP minions should not get involved in the internal affairs of Serbia...
I understand that for Serbia to join the EU certain things must be achieved as the EU wants a stable Serbia to join, not a Serbia which is having internal problems... The EU should not ask Serbia, or pressure Serbia into any agreements with the Kosovo parliament as it could be detrimental for the EU in the future... Serbia is currently stable politically, socially and economically, but any pressure on Serbia to recognise Kosovo as independent or any other policies which the EU sponsors such as kosovo's UNESCO bid could create instability...it is very important that the EU exercise caution in the Balkans with their policies and that they do not jump to any conclusions or assume the best...
Now why is it important that the EU does not become involved in the internal affairs of Serbia and sponsor policies which the EU just assumes will work...! Serbia could recognise Kosovo as independent or vote yes for Kosovo UNESCO bid, sure, but what will happen...? Firstly their will be a revolt against the government, massive political instability and social unrest... But, what if Serbia joined the EU and five years later The EU starts pressuring Serbia and becomes heavily involved in its internal affairs and sponsors negative policies, what will happen? Well the EU could create instability and any instability within the already fragile EU would have disastrous economic consequences...

Never expect impartiality from German-speaking politicians. That is exactly why they were put in charge of Serbia's accession matters (at Berlin's insistance). Serbia will face many problems, but in a couple of years you will see how some of its neighbours (Bosnia-Hercegovina, Albania, even Serbia's Kosovo province) will sail through the EU entry negotiations without difficulty, largely due to Germany's political pressure in Brussels. And, together with their puppet state Croatia, Germans will again dominate the Balkans. That is why it is all important that Serbia keeps up its good relations with Russia.
