President advises against "euphoria" over EU bid milestone

"If the closing of chapter 35 means that Serbia should accept Kosovo's independence, we will never do that," Nikolic stressed.

He added that he "still does not see how the EU will agree to Serbia becoming a member without recognizing Kosovo."

Nikolic said that Serbia wants good relations both with the EU and with Russia. According to him, Serbia is "surrounded by EU member states" and has "historical ties" with Russia.

Nikolic, president of Serbia you should also realize that you & Serbia will not be the ones to dictate what is and what isn't acceptable for the EU, it will be the EU which dictates the conditions of how and when Serbia will be qualified to join the EU, there are more powerful EU members which call the shots, Serbia is but a drop of water in the EU's bucket!!!
I also promise You this, under no circumstances will you claim The Republic Of Kosova & you will not hold hostage Kosova & her 2 million majority Albanian population again as we her majority population announced to the entire world on 2/17/2008 our decision of complete independence from Serbia!!! Now Nikolic & Serbia, you can run around the bush & in circles as much as you want the fact of the matter is that you will never again govern, police, tax, roam freely, administer, etc, over Kosova again as we will secure her sovereignty till the last drop of Albanian BLOOD! Sj, when you do come back for Kosova make sure you also bring back a good surplus supply of body bags, hopefully your Serbia has invested enough! You remember the number of Serbian losses prior to 1999, well you can easily multiply that number another 20-50 folds!
Prior to 1999 I would agree with you as Kosova was deprived of any weaponry, today their isn't a home in Kosova that doesn't have weapons of all sorts short of tanks and fighter jets, don't forget the border with Albania has been open for over a decade now and many have taken great measures in this!
However, if Serbia is ready to send 50,000- 100,000 of their sons to their deaths in a bid to reoccupy Kosova then you might just have a chance, but it won't be a walk in the park that much I can promise you!
Sj, Don't assume for one second that we here in Kosova have forgotten the atrocities your Serbian forces commited upon Kosova's civilian population as they are burning fresh on our minds you Chetnik bast...! Who is going to ask the Albanians what they want? NO ONE. Kosovo financially is unsustainable and it only maintains institutions simply because of EU funding. There are Albanians that are so deluded to think that Kosovo is a viable entity then there are others that see Kosovo joining with Albania. Sorry lads but neither is going to happen.
The west would sell out their own mothers if it suited them and Albanians are so low on the west’s totem pole of importance it’s not funny.
