Lenard, the best part about Croatia was when I didn't have to deal with pushy, snobby Croats insisting I "learn" about their history. Croatia would be so much better if there weren't so many annoying Croats in the way desperately trying to sell me whatever trinkets they have for a few measly euros. It's like there's this beautiful country full of all these gypsies with huge egos. You sound a lot like one seljak I unfortunately ran into at the Zagreb bus station.

Having toured all along the coast and parts of inland Croatia, your lot needs to invest millions to bring its tourism up to standard to attract the big spending crowds. First is the sewerage systems.
Once more thing you also have to stop trying to sell “Croatian history” to tourist as most know BS when they come across it. Its very off putting to be told about Croatia the Great when they know it never existed
(sj, 9 December 2015 10:50) Just a few days ago you said. I took a bus strait across Croatia didn't spend my worthless dinars or even even stop to buy bottle of water. Lol Croatian sewage plants system is 10 times better then Serbia's. In Serbia the city's road coverlets and sewage is dumped strait into the rivers and creeks. The city down river picks up its drinking water from the same sewage laden river and then dumps its sewage in to the same river and so on on it goes. Sj you have to stop being so jealous of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVxZxOaEuF4 Croatians and its many progresses. All the while Serbia stagnates in its own created cesspools. Croatian http://www.croatiaweek.com/record-14-million-tourists-in-croatia-in-first-10-months/ tourism is growing at a good clip and adding billions to the economy.

I firmly insist, it's the price, not visa.
The visa in the case of Croatia or Albania is something the tourist bureau does as a routine and Croatia (and Bulgaria and Greece and Cyprus and Malta) just nods.

The only countries which can compete with Middle East are Macedonia and Albania.
Macedonia does not even require visa. In Summer no visa for Albania is needed.

They have problems with infrastructure and advertisement. Albania's extra disadvantage is the language.

Do not forget, we are talking about lower worker class and mass tourism of people who have issues to fill out a visa questionnaire in Russian, provide proper paperwork and sign it.

Who has no problems like that in Russia / Ukraine / Belarus - they get Slovenian multi-Schengen visas. Slovenia and France is the easiest country to get Schengen visa and once you have these visas, the entire Europe is open.

But than, you have to have a French or Slovenian consulate nearby and fill out some paperwork.

The price of Bai Da Ho is pretty attractive and border-visa deals for groups are signed already between China and Russia.

Of course Croatia is more attractive than Bai Da Ho. Unless you live on the right side of Ural mountains, can't afford Dubrovnik and you need to change airplanes two times to reach it, making Miami a simpler deal.

Apropos, Miami. The American (or Russian for Americans) visa is one of the easiest to get. 1-2-3 and $160 and you have a 3-year permanent visa, 6 month each stay.

Lenny Croatia is too expensive. You only have to go there once and there is no need to return because the food is nothing special, beaches have only rocks while swimming in the water is a risky occupation at best, and the fees and charges are through the roof while getting very mediocre service.

Croatia? Funny. Probably some wishful thinking of Croatian tourism minister. Guess why Turkey and Egypt have been the favorite destinations for Russians making holidays? It's not only the money, but the fact that they don't need visa for Turkey and Egypt, which is not the case for Croatia.

Nowhere but Lenard's mind is Croatia a force to be reckoned with. We wonder whether he knows something the rest of the world doesn't or whether this Hercegovinian is still enamored with the indoor plumbing his flat in Split provides. Whatever the reason, we sincerely hope he entertains his fellow Croats as much as he does us here.

Stay silly and stay medicated Lenny,

The biggest problem with Croatia, CG, Crimea, Russia, Bulgaria is the price, Lenard. The ones who go to North Africa or Turkey are the ones who (barely) can afford the price at home or in (ex)YU except Macedonia. Forget Serbia, it's too expensive and no sea.

Albania could be OK in the theory - but needs work on better advertisement or infrastructure. And there is a language disadvantage.

Macedonia is OK, but Ohrid area is way to small.

However, the agreement from Minsk should be respected by all signatories, and not only by Russia, the minister concluded. LOL KGB Putin Russia should get out of Ukraine that is all the respect criminal Putin deserves. Just like Criminal Serbia in half of occupied criminally victimized Bosnia. Anything else is just a waste of time dealing with criminal warmonger idiots. As fore the Hungarian government we will wait until the Huns come to their senses and kick out their bums.

Szíjjártó replaced the entire Hungarian diplomatic force with own friends and relatives. He is allowed to do that because his only task is to support the Great Beloved Leader of Budapest Zoo (Orbángutáng). What he does on diplomatic front is absolutely irrelevant for his boss. So Szíjjártó is focused on self-enrichment and once in a while shows some convulsions to Americans, Croatians, Serbs, Germans, Russians, Ukrainians, Romanians.

Everyone is confused about the direction - no wonder, there is NONE, except self-enrichment.
