If any MPs throw tear gas or get upset because another ethnicity is gaining self governing rights, then this behaviour should be condemned, it is similar to Hitler and the Jews, it is a hatred for innocent people of a different ethnicity... Serbs do not harbour any hatred for albanians, they enjoy peace, but they will always fight for what is theirs...

It is very disturbing to see terrorist in Kosovo again, Terrorist which are intent on killing innocent men, women and most importantly children... It is not only the Albanians which are responsible for the safety of Serbs in Kosovo, but NATO is also responsible as they have been helping and trying to establish Kosovo as a country and expelling Serb police from Kosovo, they protect the majority while allowing the most vulnerable minority, the Serbs, to suffer and be terrorised...!

No, they're responding to the hatred coming from Albanian officials who've made it their business to rid Kosovo of all Serbs, including their history, culture, heritage, and legacy. It's been a practice used since the early 1980s: target Serbs, wait for a response, and then call Serbs racists and thugs for inciting hatred.

Sometimes I wonder if Propaganda is the real problem. All countries in the Balkans only keep fueling these preconceptions. This results only in hate and violence. Something has to change if we want peace.

Djuric, it's complicated. Ultimately, the international community is responsible. Those were the terms of 1244 and the whole reason why UNMIK and KFOR were established. It was obvious that all non Albanians were not safe in Kosovo-Metohija.

Things changed not so much when Albanians declared UDI in 08, but later when in the name of EU has no alternative, Serbia's government led by Boris Tadic agreed to transfer the functions of the international mission in Kosovo-Metohija from UNMIK to EULEX. Like they did a 100 of times when an ethnically motivated hate crime happened in Kosovo - but they happen again and again for years, so distancing is not enough, it's time to find perpetrators and put them behind bars.

Maybe introducing the concept of 'hate crime' into Kosovo laws could help. You know, like in the USA, for example an ethnically motivated crime is punished with double or triple penalty than the same crime committed for other reasons.

I have to thank you a lot for all your comments – but probably you are not even able to understand “why”?
You blame Albanians for what? Because they like to have the same right that you have? And have centuries that fight for those rights.
Furthermore you don't have any right to blame or to judge “muslim” people.
How could you blame muslims – while Isis everyday kill hundreds innocent muslim children,women..etc? Are you blind?
Have you ever seen how was Iraq, Libya or Syria before that the so called “Christians” decide to destroy them ?
Did somebody sorry about those little “human cubs” who die every day like animals? Of course the so called “christians” worry more about their ‘pets”.
Since the Ottoman period muslims never were a threat more than those the so called “Christians” were a threat for them?
My dear, you should not fear muslims. All muslim people want is stay in their home with their family, having their traditions and live a dignified life like you do, nothing more.
You should fear the so called “Christians” who are sending all the world on fire, just for some money in more.

Isn't nationalism and extremism the real problem? Of course the propaganda by media and politicians is not helpful, on the contrary.

Just because you don't hear, does not mean that they don't happen. Your hearing does not determine reality :)

If the only crimes happening in Kosovo were to be those reported by B92, Kosovo would certainly be the paradise on earth as measured by crime levels!
