Shooting incidents in Serb enclave in Kosovo

I can just read that report by Kosovo police months after the incident. After “thorough” investigations we can conclude that some person or persons unknown carried out the shooting but no further action to be taken.

Why is it that the Kosovo police can never find the perpetrators when crimes are committed against Serbs? Are Kosovo police this inept or do they just look the other way when Serbs are the victims. In any event, this kind of justice, or lack thereof, will only ensure a reprisal by Serbs at some point. And when this happens, the Kosovo Albanians better pray that their NATO masters are there to protect them because we all know that Albanians never won a battle on their own during their long and illustrious history of assimilating to every occupier that crossed their paths.

I'm just curious whether it was the albanian terrorist jihadis who returned from islamic jihad in syria (where they butchered innocent syrians) or it was the regular forces of alban jihadi terrorists. Regardless these scumbags need to be eliminated.

As soon as something happens to Serbs in Kosovo, Albanians come out in droves all proclaiming how it is the Serbs who always attack the Serbs in order to make Albanians look bad.
News for you, Albnaians don't need any help in that department.
If you were that close to the trouble would you risk peeking out of your window to see something? I don't think so. You would be looking for a place to hide in case they attacked your home.

It`s a difficult situation. KLA members have a lot of opposition and they dont have as much support as one might think. What keeps them in charge is the fear from the north. Whenever people fear Serbias return, they run in to the arms of nationalist.

Its the same with Serbian Politics. The only real chance for reconciliation was Djindjic and look what happend to him. After all, what exactely changed in Serbia since the 90s? Slobo is no more but look whos in charge now. All of them used to be close to Slobo and probably still have the same mentality. Why should we trust Serbia now? Its still the same rethorics as in the 90s and its still the same people.

I think the only way for peace is full recognition, which is inevitable anyway. I dont want to negotiate from a weaker position. When we have our own army to protect us from any threat and when we have full recognition from Serbia we will be equall partner. Then we can work things out. However, I think serbian heritage should remain serbian heritage. Just like the heritage of any ethnicity in Kosova should remain to whom it belong.

Where is the local community in this Serb village to say who did it? I find it extremely odd that no one saw or heard anything. Demolishing a memorial must certainly cause some noise, or breaking and burning down a car in the middle of the night. No one peeked out of the window to see what was going on?

You know, it would have been more credible - and helpful to the police - if villagers would have said, for example, we saw a man in his thirties, with a maroon sweater and green pants etc, etc, or some other individually identifying characteristics, rather than have politicians in Belgrade accuse "the Albanians" in general. Yea, sure some random guy came from a village 10 miles away to burn a random car and demolish a random memorial at some Serb village. For no reason at all.

9 out of 10 when petty crime happens there's someone from the community doing it, and silence it probably telling in this case.

I still have relative's that live in the country/ farming area's near Pec ,where their is alot of Catholic Albanian's. I visit both Serb's and Albanian's when I go to Pec city and around.I have very good friends that are Albanian's and even my best in Sydney Australia is Albanian Muslim.His own father in his 70's age complains about the crook's (KLA) that are in government.

I cannot admit it anything, since I dont know for sure, but I`m sure KLA members commited Warcrimes. This is why I strongly support ICTY, because I believe EVERYONE deserves justice and we cannot allow to become a society that supports such monsters. I think you are right Sasa.P. There have been killings from KLA Albanians during the war (of gypsies, Kosovo Albanians, etc). And I really do estimate your courage to admit the killings of Serb military and paramilitary forces. You are one of the very few Serbians on this site showing some personal dignity to accept the truth as bad as it might be.

The only issue is that in your posting you made it looks like both parties (Serbs and Kosovars) have committed war crimes equally. Which is absolutely false. There is no comparison at all between the atrocities of Serbian army (and paramilitary forces) with the individual KLA crimes. While KLA attacks were focused toward (small) military targets, the Serbian attacks were vastly focused against the civilian population (horseshoe plan). The numbers of the convicted war criminals by both sides is a clear indication of the proportionality of crimes made by each party during the Kosovo war.

The other thing, is that you (as a civilized human being) can not greet a convicted criminal (killer of many civilians) as a Hero. This is much worse, when a government Minister, and a religious personality does it. I am afraid, my friend that unfortunately, you (as a society) have many problems which need time to overcome. I just hope that the young Serbian generations will find their inner power to admit the reality and move on (for the sake of their own people).

Until the police comes up with a report, we don't know who did this and neither do you. Maybe Serbs did, maybe Albanians, or gypsies, or the Backson.

Where is the local community in this Serb village to say who did it? I find it extremely odd that no one saw or heard anything. Demolishing a memorial must certainly cause some noise, or breaking and burning down a car in the middle of the night. No one peeked out of the window to see what was going on?

You know, it would have been more credible - and helpful to the police - if villagers would have said, for example, we saw a man in his thirties, with a maroon sweater and green pants etc, etc, or some other individually identifying characteristics, rather than have politicians in Belgrade accuse "the Albanians" in general. Yea, sure some random guy came from a village 10 miles away to burn a random car and demolish a random memorial at some Serb village. For no reason at all.

9 out of 10 when petty crime happens there's someone from the community doing it, and silence it probably telling in this case.

I think you are right Sasa.P. There have been killings from KLA Albanians during the war (of gypsies, Kosovo Albanians, etc). And I really do estimate your courage to admit the killings of Serb military and paramilitary forces. You are one of the very few Serbians on this site showing some personal dignity to accept the truth as bad as it might be.

The only issue is that in your posting you made it looks like both parties (Serbs and Kosovars) have committed war crimes equally. Which is absolutely false. There is no comparison at all between the atrocities of Serbian army (and paramilitary forces) with the individual KLA crimes. While KLA attacks were focused toward (small) military targets, the Serbian attacks were vastly focused against the civilian population (horseshoe plan). The numbers of the convicted war criminals by both sides is a clear indication of the proportionality of crimes made by each party during the Kosovo war.

The other thing, is that you (as a civilized human being) can not greet a convicted criminal (killer of many civilians) as a Hero. This is much worse, when a government Minister, and a religious personality does it. I am afraid, my friend that unfortunately, you (as a society) have many problems which need time to overcome. I just hope that the young Serbian generations will find their inner power to admit the reality and move on (for the sake of their own people).

Albanians don't regret of evil that they did in Kosovo and Metohija in 1990's. Blaming on victims, crying of some genocide on them that never took place etc. 10 000(Serbs, Roma, Albanians etc) died. They ask to be treated equal after all things they did. Nothing new with those people. They will never change.

It`s a difficult situation. KLA members have a lot of opposition and they dont have as much support as one might think. What keeps them in charge is the fear from the north. Whenever people fear Serbias return, they run in to the arms of nationalist.

Its the same with Serbian Politics. The only real chance for reconciliation was Djindjic and look what happend to him. After all, what exactely changed in Serbia since the 90s? Slobo is no more but look whos in charge now. All of them used to be close to Slobo and probably still have the same mentality. Why should we trust Serbia now? Its still the same rethorics as in the 90s and its still the same people.

I think the only way for peace is full recognition, which is inevitable anyway. I dont want to negotiate from a weaker position. When we have our own army to protect us from any threat and when we have full recognition from Serbia we will be equall partner. Then we can work things out. However, I think serbian heritage should remain serbian heritage. Just like the heritage of any ethnicity in Kosova should remain to whom it belong.

Albaninian islamic terror is unchecked. Nato will have to start taking out terrorists soonor their soldiers will become targets.

So, the incident happened just e few hours earlier and hundreds of km away and still Marko Djuric seems to know everything about it (what happened, who did and the purpose why). I wander if is he hiding some evidence from the police. I cannot admit it anything, since I dont know for sure, but I`m sure KLA members commited Warcrimes. This is why I strongly support ICTY, because I believe EVERYONE deserves justice and we cannot allow to become a society that supports such monsters. I would never support nor have I ever supported anyone that commited or was linked/suspected to have commited warcrimes. The problem is that specially Serbs in this site never commit to anything. They even support people like Lazerovic and the likes by calling them heroes. Almost every serb here thinks KLA is a Jihadist group. I have news for you. I`m catholic and so are many albanians and many former members of KLA. Its name is KLA (Kosova Liberation Army) not Jihadist Army. This is just pure propaganda and I`m surprised someone actually believes this. The same myth that JNA was only defending the country against terrorist. If that was true then how do you explain massgraves in Serbia! This is not something I made up, this has also been reported by your own media.

I expect from my government to deliver anyone who`s been wanted from ICTY or UNMIK Special Court. I have respect for anyone working on these cases because they have to work against societies of denial, deep rooted nationalism and good old government propaganda.

I know that Catholic where fighting for KLA,and that what KLA stand's for.
I still have relative's that live in the country/ farming area's near Pec ,where their is alot of Catholic Albanian's. I visit both Serb's and Albanian's when I go to Pec city and around.I have very good friends that are Albanian's and even my best in Sydney Australia is Albanian Muslim.His own father in his 70's age complains about the crook's (KLA) that are in government.
Alot of Albanian's and Serb's want peace,happiness, and future with job's. Kosovo is just like Serbia was in the 90's run by a crook's ( Milosevic and his thug's).Serb's and Albanian's NEED to come to agreement ,and each need's to give abit.
If you killed civilians ,then youust pay with time in jail,not Albanian's and Croatian Generals/ Commander's always been found not guilty.
