The same question has been asked over and over again. Why did the Iraqi army run away from ISIS leaving their bases with all equipment, such as tanks, artillery, mortar and assault weapons, to the enemy?
The answer can be found from those same Iraqi refugees. They will tell you that they had all that equipment except for one item and that was sufficient munitions. These guys had only munitions to hold off ISIS for a couple of hours. So the best option was to remove uniforms and run because if ISIS caught them in uniforms they would have cut their throats.
Who decided on the issue of amount of munitions? Yes ladies and gents it was the United States of Jackasses.

Once again Kerry sounds like he has no clue of a situation he walks into in the middle of.

It does make sense only to the insane and ideological fanatics who want Assad ousted even if it means turning over all of Syria to Isis and al Qaeda.

Syrian and Arab ground troops are already there. They're called the Syrian Army and Hezbollah. The Kurds are providing excellent support. Once again Kerry sounds like he has no clue of a situation he walks into in the middle of.

Kerry is talking about defeating terrorism?
Let's remember that this comes from a man who only 2 years ago testified in front of US Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He was asked if Syrian opposition had become more infiltrated by al-Qaeda.
Kerry responded that that was 'basically incorrect' and that the opposition has 'increasingly become more defined by its moderation'.
And also that extremists are minor problem that amount to 15 to 25% of the opposition.
Putin made a comment back then : ""This was very unpleasant and surprising for me. We talk to them (the Americans), and we assume they are decent people, but he is lying and he knows that he is lying. This is sad."
Putin, you are saying nonsense. Those are not average Americans who really are decent people. Those are State Department / Pentagon / White House Americans, and it's hard to imagine people less decent.
As for Kerry. Lying or not, does not matter. I wouldn't take an advice from the guy who were saying things like that just 2 years ago.
