The only mess that should have vanished by now is the freak-show called Kosova. But it looks like we won't need any JNA or VS hero to do that. The Albanians are eating themselves alive.

i dont see any mess. RS is a great place.

The only problem is foreigners like yourselves whoshould clean up your own domestic mess before you point an eye at RS.

In the USA, (Catholic & protestant) Christmas Day - Dec 25th is in fact an OFFICIAL FEDERAL HOLIDAY where all non-vital Government services shut down & Governemnt employees take the day off. This is totally appropriate because USA is still primarily a Christian Nation.

Likewise...If the Republika Srpska Government wants to observe their holiday on Jan 9th (which is also an orthodox christian slava day) then this too is appropriate, because RS is primarily a SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN NATION. Dodik is absolutely in the right about this.

No one can force Bosnia's Muslims & Croats to observe/celebrate Serbian/RS Holidays, but by that same token No one can force Serbs/RS Citizens to not to celebrate their holidays on whatever date they want too. RS is after all a Serbian state -That's why it's called "Republika Srpska" and NOT the "Republic of ISIS/NATO/USTASHE". Sorry to spoil your party Izebegovic ... Actually no I'm not sorry at all! Ok 'SO CALLED' is been declared through ethnic cleansing , genocide.. And then telling world accept it or not - so world had to accept it in order to stop the genocide and from that they creat this entity NOW RS IS A Terminal cancer for BIH - they intended to creat one 'called 'RSK' you work it out where was it BUT THIS WAS SHORT LIVED. Thanks to the hero Ante Gatovina but he stopped short - if he pushed through to Banja Luka - today BIH will be in EU just as Croatia did.

Rod, the reason that Christmas is a federal holiday in the US is because if they made it a working day, nobody would show up. The same with the Easter holidays. That's the only reason. Compare also with Thanksgiving which is a day that is not celebrated by ANY RELIGION at all. Thanksgiving is a secular holiday observing religious figures in US history and takes the appearance of a religious holiday only among those who are religiously observing anyway.

The United States is NOT a Christian nation. Religion in the US is a matter of personal conscience as far as our laws and government are concerned. The people who founded the US were Christian -- Protestants too -- and expressed Christian values, but decided quite deliberately that government would have no authority over citizens, Christian or otherwise.

This in itself, is in fact a religious value. This has been a source of aggravation for many people in the world, citizens or not, whose religion is not accustomed to government that does not oversee and exercise religious authority.

Naim is just jealous because RS is recognized by more countries then Kosovo.
By the way if you want to get your a.s kicked again make a move on RS. Before Nato got involved in the war you were crying like little babies.
