Actually, I am not Albanian, I am American born and raised, my interest in the area is that I spent 3 years there. I keep up with the area through English periodicals as I do not read any of the local languages. I have to wonder though why you are on an English site??
NATO wants to contain Serbia, it wants to make sure it does not disrupt the peace in the balkans, again. But it in no way wants Serbia as a member. That would be like installing a special microphone for Russia in the middle of the headquarters. As a partner in peace, Serbia knows what they want Serbia to know. As a member they have access to too much information. So yes as it is to get to Serbia, Russia must cross NATO air space, it is a perfect situation.
If there were no Albanians Croats or whatever posting here, then chances are you would not be either as it is obvious you enjoy your hate speech against them.

If Serbs on here were not constantly trashing the others in the area, there would be no reason for them to read it. But since it is mainly a propaganda piece promoting nonSerb hatred, of course they will come on here and counter the claims.

The EU found a way to sign the SAA with Kosovo, without the 5 countries that have not recognized, they will continue in their goal of having Kosovo as an EU country and Serbia will not enter until it guarantees it will not attempt in any way Kosovo's joining.

Don't know what all the talk about Serbia joining NATO is about. Every country head I know seem ambivalent to Serbia joining, I do not think it is a high priority in anyones mind other than Serbs. I think Serbia is decades away from even being of the mindset to where they would not be a liability to the organization. Until the issue of Kosovo is resolved in Serbia, there can be no discussion of joining as NATO has the mandate to protect Kosovo from Serbia.
So while NATO wants to have a working relationship with Serbia and they are allowed to be a Partners in Peace participant, membership is totally out of the question at this time.
I think that NATO is happy at having Serbia completely surrounded at the time.
