Mogherini, Lavrov to discuss fight against IS in Belgrade

If they are in Belgrade to discuss how to fight ISIS then I’m Abraham Lincoln. It’s how to grovel to the Russians and issue an apology plus compensation. The Turks are furious at Russia’s bombing of the oil tankers because Ankara is losing money as it gets a cut from the sale of oil pumped by ISIS. Putin was right on the money there.
They thought they could down a Russian jet and then NATO would back them. Well were they in for a disappointment when even their good friends the US declared that this was an issue to be resolved by Russia and Turkey, which meant they left Ankara high and dry on their lonesome. Naturally, the alliance made a little noise about solidarity but make no mistake Turkey was on its own.
When you depend on a power that can wreck your economy you try and never spit in its face. All Moscow has to do is stop all Russian tourist to Turkey and ban all Turkish products and Ankara is in the economic s*** hole.
Then out comes “we didn’t know it was Russian” then “Turkish military wishes dialogue with Russia” then “we are long-time friends” and so on.
For those little Albanians that think that Turkey has put Russia in its place, think again. If it did then the Turks would not be making above statements. I hear that every bomber now has two jet fighters with it and the Moskva is off the Syrian coast. This ship can down any aircraft in Turkey.

Since my contract finished and I was not interested in a renewal I now live full time in Australia.
Abe Lincoln was a great man but today Americans are morons. They are truly lesser sons of a once great people. They just keep on telling themselves they are great.
I hate to break this news but Turkey is not a power. I have been to Turkey and less than 20 kms inland and you will step into the 10th century. Do you for a moment think that Russia is afraid of retaliating? Please stop it. Russia can obliterate Turkey at a blink of an eye. The most painful retaliation is the one that takes time to construct. Ask Bill Clinton the cost for bombing the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.
Within the first hours or so of the shooting down the White House said that this was a matter for Russia and China. Turkey expected the US to back them up. That’s why they ran to NATO and when the right answer did not come forth out comes “we didn’t know it was Russian” then “Turkish military wishes dialogue with Russia” then “we are long-time friends”.
It’s like the G20 summit after the Paris incident. During that time they only talked about Paris that and not about economics.

It amazes me why a Serbian who supposedly lives in Australia, and works or worked in Malaysia chooses to emulate historic American presidents. Especially when they daily trash America.
They are meeting in Belgrade during the OSCE meeting, it was probably set up weeks ago as a side meeting, and has nothing to do with the events with Turkey.
You could not even come close to Lincoln as he was a statesman and he realized that those of another race deserved the same rights as his own, something you will never comprehend. All your comments about Albanians are similar to those statements made by white supremacist about blacks. I see no difference in you and the members of such hate groups.

I have told you before, Russians has tucked their tale between their legs this time around, and Turkey has put Russia in her place. Russians have never been known to be great warriors. Japan defeated and humiliated Russia, dig deep in history books and you will find out. In WW2 the only reason Russia joined in because Germany almost took over Russia despite the several fronts they were fighting against the world. In addition the 1999 bombing, Russia stood by and watched her so beloved serbian brothers and sisters get bombed. Where has Russia fought a war and actually won? Not to mention Afghanistan, so with that being said, no one fears Russia, and Turkey alone has proved that just now.
Russia seems to forget that her opponents are usually a quarter of her population, not Turkey.

Maybe you confused my post, which was about your hatred for America and the fact that you seem totally consumed in it.
I am no fan of Turkey, I do not think Russia is afraid of Turkey, but I do think that they do have a right to defend their air space and I doubt that there will be any military retaliation. Putin did not get where he is by being a poster on these blogs, he knows to choose his actions well. He is forced to react but he also knows to react with caution. He like most world leaders realize that a third world war will not go well for him or anyone else. As to the victor hopefully we will never know, but my vote is that the real victors will be those in the southern hemisphere. It will be the third world countries that will not be exposed to the nuclear fallout.

The one thing that did amaze me in my travels is how much about US history people in other countries know as compared to other countries and even their own.

No doubt he will be doing it today and to-morrow as well. You know why ? Because Putin is hunting him now. If Erdogan is a Grey Wolf then he is hunted as a wolf. Wolfs fear something they don’t understand so the hunters usually hang ropes with red ribbons on them cornering wolfs in a small area where they are killed then. And it is exactly what we can see now. In a week or so when the Russian tourists are back their homes the military component activated too. And of course the apology is the last thing Russia needs now because if so when the Turkish planes start to fall Russia will look like an aggressor. Besides the West will is got tired of Erdogan and his strong Turkey. So they may give Russia moral support to put him on his knees. Just be patient.
