“French and Russian air strikes” sounds rather amusing as out of 220 airstrikes delivered yesterday only 14 belonged to the French. Yet it was a good step to join the Russian campaign and start to cooperate. We have a glorious practice of such kind of a cooperation during WW2 when Normandy-Neman air wing fought within the Soviet Army. Yet I wonder what will the French do if Russia starts to destroy the jihadists withdrawn to Qatar lately or if we strike the Saudites in Yemen ? How far are they going to go without the highest permit ? Also it’s a big question how they are going to divide the Syrian air where several separate groups of planes are so active today. Positive moment is that all sides involved will have to compete in destroying the ISIL to share the inevitable military victory. Even the US !
