Whenever an investigative journalist is killed, extensive publicity is needed directed at the persons and organisations which the journalist was investigating,

The point of killing a journalist is to kill the story - so an obvious counter to that is to bring the story into the open.

When journalists are being used to push propaganda of state organisations, the state should be as strong a focus of pressure as the killers. Proper journalism has to be abstracted from politicians who are intent on abusing their hold on media to preserve their own jobs.

Why not use the power of the pen to criticize NATO criminality in the same manner and frequency that you've criticized others? Why not shame and target the US embassy with the same vigour that you've criticized other institutions? Until you do so, your so called "dominant role" will in fact remain very submissive.
